Wes Burns has been back to his best this last few weeks, below taken from EADT.

Wes Burns and Conor Chaplin bromance has been wonderful to watch blossom.

Those two combined as Ipswich further crushed Wycombe’s spirits with a goal right on half-time.

Burns’ fake cross left Joe Jacobson stumbling to the floor. The Welshman then rolled a square pass into Chaplin who, in trademark fashion, set himself nicely before finding the bottom corner.

Burns now has 10 assists to his name this season, including one in each of his last five games. The last man to do that in the top-four tiers of English football? Mo Salah for Liverpool in November 2021.

What sort of irritates me is that ipswich dont really have any time spent on them in the Football League Show.
Stayed up to watch that last night thinking the team would have many minutes due to the run and clean sheets……., but nope. SheffWed got more attention. What do Ipswich need to do to get these pundits taking notice?

Not exactly correct Liz, the record we hold Liz is remaining undefeated at Portman Road in all 31 of our UEFA ties - winning 25 and drawing just six. To this day It remains the longest ongoing unbeaten run across all UEFA competitions i.e. Champions League and Europa League.

PSG once equalled and then surpassed the record run before losing at home to Barcelona in a Champions League quarter-final first leg tie to Barcelona, thus returning the current live record to Ipswich.

Always a good pub quiz question,

Pretty impressive by Town isn’t it .

Apparently , narwich once beat a Bayern Munich side ….. but they omitted to also state it was a BM side in a transitional period and definitely not their strongest ever team. Still, they have no doubt added it to their “ honours “ list in the match day programme along with entries like ,
“ reached round 5FA Cup 1998(or whatever the year was)”. I laughed out loud when I read that!

They've won two or three Second League (now Championship) Titles the time we've been outside the EPL. Were they ever in this league, (third tier), seems an obvious answer but can't recall right now. Point being they may have won that divisional title also.

I don't like them but causes an issue when any of our own fans suggest they got empty trophy rooms. f*ck they've achieved far more than we have the past 20 years. It's not pleasant to admit and wish it were different but up until just recent, they were far more motivated and equipped to succeed and challenge.

Norwich have been in the third tier of English football three times most recently in 2009/10. They’ve been promoted twice as Champions: 1933-34 and 2009-10 and once as Runners Up 1959–60.

If you class participating in the PL (but rarely getting higher than the bottom 3 ) as an “achievement”, then the word achievement needs redefining.

Smaller clubs than narwich have competed FAR better than they have, in the PL.

They have WON NOTHING of note and certainly not at the highest level, ever….. unlike us.

Yep, sorry, I meant the 7-0 was in the L1 season and Bryan Gunn was emptied......, Lambo took over, sprinkled his dust, heard voices in the presssers, and won the league.
