Mid table would be fine. Just keep playing decent football and I’ll be happy.

Re: 23/24 PREDICTIONS (Expectations)
Totally agree with you here, Andy in the clubs first season back in 2nd tier for a while. (Very difficult few years vs the Cheltenhams & Forest Greens)
I suppose it matters how the team achieve mid table though.
1. Near relegation & rise to mid? KMcK a hero.
2. Near EPL & drop to mid? KMcK sacked in March.
3. Remain mid all season? KMcK = Mick McC.

Re: 23/24 PREDICTIONS (Expectations)
Ipswich Town will be top six!
How do I know that? KM’s playing style will
continue to stifle opposition. We’ll have more possession and as long as we have forwards to score goals, I don’t see us capitulating. Trust me, MA/KM have a few aces up their sleeves. A few reinforcements and we’ll be fine.

Top half is an absolute minimum.
However if we get 4-5 new arrivals I think then we can push for the top 6.
Given the monumental job the club will have done in the January transfer window I fully trust our recruiting team.

That’s a very good point. They got it spot on. Turned us from a very good side into a pretty well unbeatable one.Mach_Polish_Blue wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 2:24 pmTop half is an absolute minimum.

Maybe we’ll have you back in the Prediction League too given you were pretty good at it.
Keep posting, but remember we all have different opinions that don’t always align.

Cheers Charnwood.
Most important thing is that given how good our owners are we can all have dreams, realistic good dreams.
The men of their word who have been doing everything to get us out of the wilderness. Plus how nice Portman Road looks from outside too nowadays.

Much better is an understatement

And today we are an attraction for the quality players. These days we are able to sign a quality like Nathan Broadhead. Before that was Oli Hawkins

Re: 23/24 PREDICTIONS (Expectations)
Need to rethink that Blackburn title prediction after this. Not enough ambition by the sounds of it.

I'll be happy if we stuff the Budgies twice, take 4 points off Leeds & Leicester and finish in the top half of the table. #coyb
