No doubt he was productive, I’d like to see him take a few more shots on goal. Opposition defences will have an eye on Delap & Szmodics now.
Anyone else feeling underwhelmed by J. Clarke? He seems very light weight to me and a bit scatter brained. He has nice hair though.

He did make a couple of tracking back runs and tackles to be fair, and carried the ball at times.
Give him time I’d say.

Yeah definitely needs time, just wouldn't be a starter in my ideal line up, which clearly he isn't at the moment.

I see Jack Clarke as being a slightly better option than both Broadhead and Burns, but only slightly at the moment.
Hopefully, he will get minutes in the latter stages of games and will gradually improve.
Oh, and I don't think he has nice hair - to me he looks like he has dipped his head in a bucket of diarrhoea.

Clark has disappointed every time I have seen him but he came so highly recommended. He is young and clearly impressionable (if his stupid alice band and pseudo grealish looks are anything to go by) so lets hope McKenna sees that and can bring him out of it. I just wish he would swap shorts with Delap as then they would both be wearing 'normal' sizes ones...

If, and hopefully he will, KM can do 'an Omari' on Jack Clarke, then there's definitely potential. I look forward to seeing him improve (hopefully) month on month, just as Hutchinson did last season. The thing he has on his side is age, and how he skipped through the Everton defence to initially be awarded a penalty, just shows what great close ball control in a tight area he has in his locker. There are games where that talent may be vital.
Of course generally, from the few moments I have seen, he does have a way to go to as yet to fully impress the PR crowd.

I really wanted us to go for Jack Clarke, long before we were linked with him, he ripped up defences in the Championship and looked to fit the mould of the type of young and up and coming player we were after.
It has to be said he's not had a solid run in the team for obvious reasons, and like everyone else is on a very steep learning curve, I just think he has this little bit of "look at me, I'm great" about him when knuckling down and improving would be more beneficial, as Wilf has eluded to in the past, he's too concerned about his hair and appearance at times but he's also a young lad.
I think he has what it takes and all being well he'll get there, I mean Omari hardly set the world alight in the opening Ten games, it takes time for younger players in particular to find their feet at this level.

I look at Clarke as a very young, inexperienced player, whom has a few tricks that worked very well at CC level, but has made a massive step up in the PL now . He has to be given time to adapt and develop. We are buying a lot of these young players for "the future" and to develop them further . Clarke fits that bracket 100% for me. So I'm not expecting too much from him this season tbh ...

There is no better judge on this forum for spotting the diahorrea-like hairdos.
