England players tonight
I think they’re a bloody disgrace dropping out of the England squad. I hope they don’t get picked for bigger games ahead now. They’re all Arrogant arse holes in my view

Re: England players tonight
Well I think it’s more than black and white. I’m sure English players have the desire to play for their country, but their respective employers are probably more important to many of them. I’m not saying that’s right, but I do understand their hesitancy to risk further injury that could jeopardize their domestic professional careers.
I do believe however, if a player is selected to represent his/her country they should commit to that cause. If a player is not willing to do that, they should remove themselves from the honor of playing for their country, entirely.

The young players (basically a B team) that is playing tonight have looked really good. Tuchel should build on them and bollocks to the hangers on and dropouts from this time around. They made their choice and now, f*ck 'em

To be honest, if i was English, i’d be pi$$ed off my country had to take part in it. Countries like England, Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium etc etc Shouldn’t be wasting their time and energy in it. Its for all the other dross to fight it out for qualification, ie, Scotland, Wales, both Irelands, etc etc.
I 100% WITH your bigger stars not wanting to play in it, and definitely get them in for games that matter in BIG qualifiers and group games at tournaments.

Probably why England played the babies then….maybe it was an agreement with the established senior players? Still doesn’t take into account …THE FANS ( travelling expenses etc to watch a B team). It reminds me so much of McCarthy era in the cup comps.

Talking of the fans have been told by several people I know from when I followed England away that it was a nightmare last night.hallamblue wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 12:11 pmProbably why England played the babies then….maybe it was an agreement with the established senior players? Problems getting in to the ground, fans tear gassed including women and children and bricks being thrown at them by Greek fans.
One of the reasons why I stopped following England away.

Funny you should say all this Tony. I was looking at the England fans faces last night and I thought they looked a generally subdued and worried bunch to me. I've seen " that look" on away fans faces fiesta hand when dangerous/ threat from attack from. Opposition fans is imminent. It wasn't lost on me.

I’m sure when my nephew gets home over the weekend I’ll get an update. but when i messaged him during the game he said going to the match was the worst and least enjoyable part of his trip so far. I couldn’t understand what he meant at the time but your comments have enlightened me Tony.
