Midfield for Coventry?
Have quite a bit of choice in Juan, Jim, Currie, Westlake, Richards,Williams
Peters and possibly Skard so who would you start?
Id go for Westlake, Williams (not brought in to warm the bench im guessing) Jim and Richards

OMG !....Joe now has OPTIONS ...OPTIONS....OPTIONS...OPTIONS....
Dont look now fellas but JR is actually begining to re-build us YET AGAIN !
and when everyone is fit and all possible incoming players in the pipe-line , are here - we have a pretty good looking midfield, certainly as good as any in this division.
A good second half of the season is predicted ending in a PLAY-OFF place..and who knows , such is the quirky nature of football, promotion via the play - offs this season !

Happy you managed to get your hair in order HB.
I agree with that as long as JR can get them playing as a unit. we suddenly look well manned in most areas. However we have Winter and heavy pitches coming up, ie; more injuries.
I would also like to see one more good quality central defender to put De Vos under more pressure.

If I was Joe, I think Id go for the same midfield as against Plymouth, with Jim replacing Horlock...
With Williams as a sub for Currie and Westy as a sub for Jim.
I agree that Joe obv didnt bring Williams in to warm the bench, but he may want him to spend time getting his fitness up (remember he's not playd for WHam) and gettin used to the team...the same as Proudlock did. I reckon he'll be in the team for the 2nd/3rd game of his loan spell...

I think Williams might be on at the start, that or he will come on at half time...Rach wrote:If I was Joe, I think Id go for the same midfield as against Plymouth, with Jim replacing Horlock...

I agree with the points about heavy pitches and possible further injuries, which is why I think Joe is getting in more midfielders - we need 'em !
I think if I dug up my dear old granny , she could put more pressure on De Vos, frankly !

However, maybe the possable £1m we would get for Deano could be apported between making Williams a perminent move (say £250k ) and the remainder of the £1m (say £750k) being made available to Joe to get in a probable targeted defender !?
Just a thought , thats all !

No Wilnis, Add McEveley, switch Westy and Richards... should be good for me, with Magic in an anchorman holding role behind the rest of the midfield. Juan to replace Magic on the hour.hallamblue wrote:how about ...bluebird wrote:Magilton, Garven, Juan, Richards![]()
