Proudlock hopes to stay with Town

Proudlock joins Ipswich on loan
Striker Adam Proudlock is hoping to earn a longer stay at Ipswich if he can impress manager Joe Royle.
Proudlock, 24, joined Town on a three-month loan from Sheffield Wednesday in October after he appealed against his sacking by the Owls.

"I have fallen on my feet with a chance to show what I can do at a club like Ipswich," he told the club website.

"I owe Joe Royle a lot for giving me a second chance - I've got until January to prove myself."

Proudlock has started three games and made two substitute appearances while at Portman Road, but is still awaiting his first goal in Ipswich colours

To be honest i dont think he has done anything to stay at the club.

For someone who is in last chance saloon i would have expected a better return by now.

Would not be sorry to see him go.

Look at the amount of goals we've actually scored when he's actually had a decent run out. I think he's worth loaning til the end of the season.

I think he can be quite effective coming off the bench to add a little pace to our attack and with it looking like Bowditch going he could be very useful to us.

Theres no harm in keeping him to the end of the season, but i dont think hes future lies in a blue shirt.

Proudlock is out of today's game!
Striker Adam Proudlock is out of Town's first ever trip to Coventry's Ricoh Arena. The on-loan striker jarred a knee joint in Monday's reserve defeat to Spurs.

Town are confident that the former Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves man will be back for Tuesday's home game with Reading.
