Gavin Williams admitted he had mixed feelings after scoring on his debut for Town in the 1-1 draw at Coventry.
The Welsh international is on loan at Portman Road from West Ham and marked his first appearance in Blues' colours with a second-half strike to give Town the lead.
"It was obviously great to score a goal on my debut and I enjoyed the game but ultimately there is disappointment because we should have won the match," Gavin told the Club website.
"Coventry came into the game after they scored and had a couple of chances but other then that we dominated the match and should have had all three points."
It was Gavin's first League match of the season and he added: "My fitness was a little short because of that but I felt at home with the style Ipswich play. That is one of the main reasons I came here, because of the way Ipswich pass the ball around.
"From what I have seen Ipswich have the quality to be pushing for the Play-Off places but a lot of the clubs at the top have bigger squads."
Th poor lads in for a shock then!

I'd bet that he wants to stay acutally !...at least here, he will be playing each week. Thats gotta be better than wasting his talent sitting in the stand at wet spam surely ...and would you swap Bowditch for Williams ??
I think I might be tempted
