Have you seen how many times Lewis cant catch?azbedwell wrote:surely the goalie is the last place we need a new face? sort out our defence and attack first. i would also rather another attacking midfielder than a goalie. price and supple are the least of our problems.
I for one think a keeper is a position we should be looking for

Yes IF Wrighty is going to be "released" I think Town would be bonkers not to try and get him....an injury to Price and we have just another rooky to call on in Supple - yes I know he s good , but experience is what we need (in the right age group that is ) !!Dazza wrote:Have you seen how many times Lewis cant catch?azbedwell wrote:surely the goalie is the last place we need a new face? sort out our defence and attack first. i would also rather another attacking midfielder than a goalie. price and supple are the least of our problems.

But yes, we also are now desperate for a striker to team up with Forster...and dare I say a decent central defender !!

Im sure Richard Wright would be better in those positions than most the idiots we have playing for us currently.azbedwell wrote:surely the goalie is the last place we need a new face? sort out our defence and attack first. i would also rather another attacking midfielder than a goalie. price and supple are the least of our problems.

De vos/magilton/currie/mcthing, they are people, running should be their bread and butter. they are also footballers so kicking the ball should come fairly naturally.Dazza wrote:I totally agree, but that doesnt make up for the fact that Lewis really cant catch a ball. He is a keeper, catching is their bread and butter stuff and he cant do it!azbedwell wrote:the goalie would have a lot less to do if de vos could defend, or even run.
I dont necessarily think that getting Wright would be a bad move but would seem like a slight luxury. i always rated him and always thought he was unlucky not to be given a go at arsenal and lost confidence due to it from which he has as yet not recovered. Just think strengthening other areas would yield more results. Even on a free wright is not going to play for free and i think other positions are in more need of reinforcing.

Naylor & Wilnis seems to look pretty good on the rare occasions we get to see it

How else does he get picked every week????
