Dutch football has been rocked by the news that David Di Tommaso has died.
The FC Utrecht defender died in his sleep on Monday night, with reports suggesting that he had a heart attack.
The Frenchman, who had no history of heart problems, was voted Utrecht's Player of the Season by fans last year.
Di Tommaso, who was 26, started his career at Monaco before joining French second division club Sedan.
He moved to Utrecht in 2004, and was a transfer target for Premiership club Portsmouth this summer

Dam - I am 26 in Feb - I would consider myself in not bad health - but a pro footballer to die at that age is shocking!!!
RIP chap!!
