Re: **BREAKING NEWS**
That has got to be the biggest joke I have heard all week long!!!Daddy Dubz wrote:Southampton have given Portsmouth permission to speak to Harry Redknapp.
I know why - Rupert "I am a knob" Lowe will give the job to Clive Woodward. However Milan Mandaric really is one heck of a clueless fecker with a tiny pecker!!!
Harry was doing, by all accounts, a reasonable job at Portsmouth. Yet Milan felt he needed to intervene and cause problems because he wanted to be a part of it all. rather than let the manager get on with doing the job as best they possibly can.
Too many chairmen want a slice of the action and cause far too many problems for the club by acting in their power hungry manner!!

Having heard it on the radio on a number of occasions this afternoon I don't need to, plus this is from Sky :Daddy Dubz wrote:Check any sports news site
Southampton have refused to grant Portsmouth permission to speak to manager Harry Redknapp.
Pompey chairman Milan Mandaric is actively seeking a replacement for Alain Perrin, but has turned down a number of blind alleys in the last few days.
Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock held talks with Mandaric on Wednesday but opted to remain at Bramall Lane, prompting the Pompey supremo to approach Saints with regard to luring Redknapp back to Fratton Park.
Redknapp said on Thursday afternoon that he would be willing to speak to Mandaric, but Saints chairman Rupert Lowe is denying him the opportunity to do just that.
or how about the BBC :
Harry Redknapp is considered favourite, but Southampton are yet to allow him permission to speak to his former club.
But Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock is definitely out of the running after deciding to stay at Bramall Lane.
Mandaric asked to speak to Redknapp on Thursday, but Saints chairman Rupert Lowe has yet to refuse or grant permission.
Redknapp said he was aware of Portsmouth's interest but added: "It's up to the chairman whether he wants me to talk to them."
or may be the Telepgraph :
Lawrie Sanchez and Brian Kerr are the latest names in the frame at Fratton Park after Neil Warnock turns down the job and Southampton reportedly stop a move for Harry Redknapp.
How long this will remain the case is anyones guess, but at the moment Harry Redknapp is not officially talking to Pompey, but I'm sure he will be by the end of the week
