Delighted at the win. Watching the game I really didn't expect us to score.
Pleased that there was none of the expected hoof ball, but it certainly wasn't pretty to watch.
Some random thoughts:
Misplaced passes. Players standing still when not in possession giving the player with the ball very little in the way of options. Not enough forward passes until Bru came on, really like the look of him. Though don't see what all the fuss is about Bishop.
Skuse looked good and again the criticism he gets on this performance may be a little unfair.
Goal keeper looked shaky at times and didn't inspire confidence in me.
Defence not as bad as I had imagined.
Better communication between players needed, think I only heard one player claim the ball all game.
Sears, lots of running but nothing to show for it. Murphy was anonymous.
Set pieces were poor, takes me back to the days of Leadbitter and Edwards!
Other than his goal, didn't think Tabb offered up much. A couple of times I saw him standing off his man when he should have been pressuring him.
I think I heard someone describe it as lazy football and they weren't wrong. Some of the players just didn't seem up for it.
This is the first time I've seen a live game in a while so a lot of my views could well be cods wallop!
Was kept quite entertained by Lennon's touchline antics, he nearly went apoplectic at one point. Bolton were pretty physical at times, unfairly so, yet got away with it. Whenever we tried to match them at this the ref took a dim view of it and we were penalised, not sure what that was about.
Let's hope for a decent run in.

Thanks for the fans eye view. Its not cods wallop its an appraisal of our team by someone who saw the match and though not all will agree its always good to read them. Delighted with the win,and not too bothered whom it came from its alawys welcome. I too fear Watford will Cain us, but would´nt it be typical us to beat them. I have never had a fondness for Watford having lived in Luton several years, also hen they had all those foreign players on loan and nearly made it to the Premier League.
Shame all the others near us won but we can only affect our games and let the others worry about themselves.
Onwards and upwards
Trying to stay positive

Re: Ipswich Town vs Bolton Wanderers Match Preview
It was a night where the opposition could just have easily taken something from the game. While we had the greater possession they created just as many chances and in the end it could have gone either way. I'm not overly worried about the Watford fixture coming up, they have just as much to play for and will be feeling the pressure like ourselves. All McCarthy needs do is face the game with some agressive attitude and the rest will take care of itself. Yes it's catch up time as we are now out of the top six right now but it only takes a few wins in the upcoming games and for other rivals to drop points and we'll be right back in the thick of things. We've come so far this season so let's end it on a high.

About 50 miles of diversions, A14, M1, A50 and to top it all off at least 3/4 of the journey in thick fog.
Bloody good job the boys won, that's all I can say!
If I'd have known you could have picked me up on the way.
