Half way through the season, just wanted to see how we are doing with our predictions, and doffing our hats to those near the mark whilst laughing at those way off the mark. A lot can change but half way through its a pretty good indication of the teams doing it and those that are not.

My predictions are always hilariously wrong so I look forward to not having a single one correct this year :D
Aw yeah!

Many are a bit off with Wigan & Fulham..... I doff my hat to Morphy though for knowing enough about Bournemouth to have them up there. I think Derby is my only close one.

He supports a cross eyed, walk with a limp, Angus team? Can we trust his confirmations? :D

Have derby as champions with town in sixth place, both of which may come to pass. Never expected the success of this season and if ipswich finish in the top two by the end of it all, then content to be proved incorrect.

# bump# Just as we near the late eight games of the season thought I´d put this up and see just how close we are to our predictions. The major disappointing teams and those punching well above their weight. After a fantastic win at dirty Watford(the double in fact) its getting all very exciting again.
As i lay in bed one of the first Things that came to mind was wow thats two clean sheets on the trot now. Maybe our defence is getting solid again....weird are´nt I  . But my point is we are very much still in this. Bournmouth is a huge test as was Watford,so lets see what we can go and back the boys til the final game.

It's always a tad disappointing to lie in bed contemplating clean sheets! (Apologies to all - just couldn't resist!)

July 2014

#1 Derby County
#2 Wigan Athletic
#3 Leeds United
#4 Fulham
#5 Cardiff City
#6 Ipswich Town
#7 Brighton and Hove Albion
#8 Charlton Athletic
#9 Birmingham City
#10 Norwich City

March 2015

#1 Bournemouth
#2 Watford
#3 Middlesborough
#4 Norwich
#5 Derby
#6 Ipswich
#7 Brentford
#8 Wolverhampton
#9 Nottingham
#10 Blackburn

Yes there's some familiar names in there but for the most part it's quite changed from the initial prediction. Never would have imagined Bournemouth in 1st place, I never even included them as part of the top ten.

Wigan are nearer second place at the other end of the league and Leeds and Fulham are in lower mid-table with little to play for. The sixth place team would remain unchanged however.

Think it's safe to say, if it were to stay the same as it is then, and as it is now - then we'll take it. Yes yesterdays win saw some renewed optimism in pursuit of an auto place, but being realistic, between third to sixth would seem more likely.

1, Fulham purely because of stupid money they have
2, Cardiff City been there done it before and the money
3, Wigan to go closer than last season still a good squad
4, Brighton HA getting better year after year good ground and fans
5, Scum they have held on to their "stars" and with stupid money to spend
6, Wolves really think if they start well they could fly
7, Derby C falling a little behind after coing so close
8, Brentford Heres my suprise package i think they will do well
9, Us we are imho three-four players short of top three
10, Notts F they could be world beaters or religation fodder unpredictable

1 Bournemouth
#2 Watford
#3 Middlesborough
#4 Norwich
#5 Derby
#6 Ipswich
#7 Brentford
#8 Wolverhampton
#9 Nottingham
#10 Blackburn

6 out of the current top 10 is not too bad imho. Fulham and Wigan have been major disappointments but i figured Brentford would suprise a few. Bournemouth totally came out of the blue for me,but lets see how it all pans out over the NeXT two monthes.

It looks like it's Fulham, Wigan and Cardiff who've messed things up for everyone in this. Morphy did have Bournemouth though. Well played.
