Town however, have had their best season in well over a decade, on a shoestring string budget ( compared to the many Clubs that have money to burn in this inequitable playing field created by sky money).
We should all stand tall and be very proud of our lads. What an honest bunch of players we now have. Can't remember a team spirit such as the one MM has created, since the heady days of SBR's great squad. Over tgecsummer MM/ TC and Marcus Evans will be targetting already identified players (should we have remained in the Championship), plus the youngsters we havd already signed , but not yet seen in the squad this season.
There will undoubtedly be some departures, but none that MM isnt willing to let go or cash in on.
Play offs this season was I think not actually in the plan for this season, but such is the deveolpment of the
squad, We have in many ways over achieved on our own expectations. Next season we go again, andbthis time it will be automatic promotion, because we will build upon what we have.
Final thoughts. Come on Middlesbrough! Scum arent up yet, the arrogant tossas!

Couldn't agree more..so proud to walk round my local Somerset town this season with an Ipswich top on. We must build on this thou!. I can see a few out ie Tabb etc, but the spirit & most of all the togetherness between player & fan has never been better. Come on Boro!

Agreed Hallam watching in the pub with a few fans from sweden and danes we really celebrated Smiths goal,and the whole of the first half.
We have over achieved a little this season but with a little more quaility and guile i cant see why we cant go one better next time.

Well said Hallam. Mick took over 2 1/2 years ago when we had 7 points in December. Since then, we finished about 15th then 8th then 6th. We lost to a better side, simples. Please, let ME open up the purse and give Mick the room to improve this club more. Can't wait until next season already!
