I'm just messing with you ya bawbag......, fact is, it was deliberate. Pretty sure you recorded in the off chance that ITFC won? Go watch it again.

And stop being a hissy c*nt. No one likes it on this forum.
I've been here plenty long enough to know who they like and don't like pal on these forums pal...Drum & Monkey discussions a plenty, I think we'll leave it there.

As for the initial statement, if you think deliberate and instinct are the same. Well, there's not much left to say.

Proud of ITFC. We go again next season.

oh bugger, there was me dreaming of the final, never mind boro will beat the scum at wembley, now what about next season, will M E allow Mick to spend??? we definitely need a few decent players to come in especially at the back, and a class midfielder, if we keep the same squad we wont get anywhere near the finish we had this season, and no more bloody hoofball

Just home from scumville and am so proud of the boys today and for a very good season, that said am gutted at how we lost today, it is hard to take, especially against this bunch of fuckwits.

Having bossed the first half with a superb away performance where we just stopped them playing, closing down every ball, working our socks off and having the majority off offensive possession we are undone by the fickle fortune of fate once again, I dont like to single players out but once again Mings fucks it up with one of his laid back passes and as a result we lose a man, a goal and ultimately a play off final spot. Yes the hand ball was a stone wall decision BUT when the ball is flying at you like that it is instinctive to move towards it and stop it from going in the net, it is a split second thing which ANY one of us would have done too, no blame attached to Berra at all.

We still showed the guts and character to pull ourselves level against all the odds but it was too much of a mountain to climb, again I felt Mings was culpable for not closing down redmond for the second and not for the first time in recent weeks Bart could maybe have done better too, but all in all that is being a tad harsh on the boys.

I honestly feel that based on the first half performance we would have won today with 11 men on the pitch, that is not a bias view but how the game was looking to me, of course it is irrelevent now and we will never know. The fans were first class today, as they away support has been all season, I am proud of the team, the management and the whole set up, let the scum have their moment in the sun, I would not change anything about my beloved ITFC, our time will come and we go again next season, only this time we aim for the top two. Well im not going to say i wear blue tinted specs but for me Bishop was felled in the box. I saw Madrid get a much less clear cut penalty in the CL vs Juventus. Bishop was touched/impeded by a late challenge. That would have put us in the drivingseat.
No sour grapes just my opinion.

From what I watched he didn't really feature at all, but the momentum had already swung to the budgies at this point so it was hard for any sub coming on to make an impact

I'm gonna offer my apologies to the club and fellow fans. I was a total let down as a Ipswich supporter today.

Got in from work this morning, had a few beers, chatted the barmaid up, had some more beers, felt I was getting somewhere, had some more beers, she seemed keen, had some more beers, fell asleep, woke up tonight, saw we lost, threw the TV remote off the balcony into the sea, went back to work.

Day done.

I hang my head in shame. Onwards and upwards to next season.

 Those barmaids are wily in their seductive ways. Tease while we keep drinking!

Can't fault Berra personally. I probably would have done the same. To be honest, Norwich have the better side. Our boys played their asses off, can't be prouder! And can we give Tommy a weeks rest now? Ashford, I think ME sees the promise in Mick and the reaction of us fans. Here's to a successful transfer window, and bring on August!!!

I thought McGoldrick looked keen and added a touch of class when he came on. No doubt he had extra energy being a sub but I honestly thought he looked better than the team he was playing in. We've missed him this 2nd half of the season.

No finger pointing needed. Why not Tabb whom was robbed after we got into it?why not Berra for playing goalie? why not a handful of others who were average at best. Mings has cost us points throughout the season as recently as wolves away, but cut him some slack.
The boys for the whole of the first half were the better than in essence a priemer league side. They were only in the accendency after we went down to ten men.
WE WILL BE BACK .

I really must ask Don a question here because he will have experienced something today that I've not experienced for over 30 years........, what was it like getting off the sofa to switch channels on the TV?

Aw man, you'll need to go get another remote. Badly dubbed Spanish soap operas are part of the holiday experience. Yes, some barmaid action could be great, ......, but you just can't beat;

"Te amo mi amor. Tu eres mi vida, mi luna, et mi ciel. Tu eres mi corazon" by some dodgy Spanish actors.

Yes Mings was at fault early in the move that led to the penalty but I thought he generally had a great game and seem to remember a superb tackle early in the first half when their player (Jerome?) looked goal bound.

On a technical note: Jerome looked seriously concussed towards the end of the first half after that clash of heads with Berra. I thought the ref would have checked this more thoroughly before letting him back on. Aren't there rules for forced replacement of concussed players?

I was proud of the boys but ultimately Norwich had the players to exploit any small mistakes and IMO we needed to get the early goal to set the game up. A draw at full time would have been hard to defend with the way we expend our energy over the 90 minutes. No way was it a penalty on Bishop but in fact IMO he could have played more for it ;-) I'm happy he didn't though - don't like that way of playing.

City fans had a lucky escape of sorts as an explosive device from WW2 was yesterday found in the vicinity of the stadium. Area evacuated and now the explosive has been made safe. Could have potentially gone off during the game of all things but the play-off events will now go ahead as intended.

Sorry Elizabeth didn't see you there

Yes the same thing did cross my mind (potential of serious injury to Norwich support) but didn't feel nefarious enough to put it into words.

hopefully Middlesbrough will provide a safer option and just beat them on Monday. Would have made for a fine scenario though - Norwich two goals up with a minute to play and (then finding the device) - abandon the match because of it.
