i went to the game at portman road this evening, it was not inspiring!
michael crowe
joshua emmanuel
myles kenlock
adam mcdonnell
george fowler
joe robinson
kyle hammond
andre dozzell
james alabi
sam ford
alex henshall
we lost 0-3
played like the first team -lots of hopeful balls played up to alabi, not a lot of creativity in midfield.
charlton seemed to have a lot of time and space, we had little.
of course it's a one-off but i didn't see anyone who is about to force themselves on the first eleven.
certainly not henshall or alabi on this showing.
on a positive note, there were lots of kids out there and potential for the future, just not immediate!
i was quite impressed with michael crowe, caught well, made some good stops and distributed the ball with brains.

From what you say, it would seem that the U21's are playing the same style and same tactics as the first team.Mr.Punch wrote:i went to the game at portman road this evening, it was not inspiring!

Not much hope for the future there then.
