Not sure we need another striker and is he better than what we already have.

We all know where we need to strengthen, it's been said many a time so I will not say it again.

Striker? I thought he was a defender, or am i confusing him with someone else?

Jay Simpson, when playing for Hull, scored a cracking - I think winning - goal against us a few seasons ago.

However, like most others, I'm bemused by this alleged interest. With MM having access to the 4 best strikers in the C'ship, why Simpson? Although with such outstanding defenders and midfielders in the squad, I suppose it's a no brainer!

MM's new 1-10 attacking formation perhaps. If you can't defend simply outscore them.

Jay Simpson is a defender, or at least he was.

Certainly do hope he's not as bad as Knudsen........ Or you'll hear the fans scream......, "OH, JAY SIMPSON, what was that?"

Ok, I'll stop with the oj Simpson bollocks now.

Do we require another attacker ? Are Murphy, McGoldrick, Pitman and Sears not enough ?

Saying that all four were deployed during the Blackburn Rovers game and we still couldn't find a goal so maybe it's not as unnecessary as first viewed.

This Simpson kid I only possess vague recollection of. Not enough to offer sufficient comment, but as before, if the forwards we possess now aren't doing what they're paid for, then there seems little harm in having another option.

Definitely a striker/winger - from his early Arsenal days.
