Re: Brentford
3-1 at present, and a better 2nd half showing. Seems like Brentford are potentially about to lose a few key players in this transfer window, including Alan Judge, who I seem to recall Paul Jewell once tried to sign, but the lad went to Blackburn. He would be still be a good, albeit unlikely, signing for us!trimleyblue wrote:Getting gubbed by Burnley 3 - 0 after 40 minutes.

...and there was I thinking Brentford might possibly take a point from the game to leave the door open for Town to move up to 4th.
Oh well, even more important we win tomorrow to stay in touch.

Re: Brentford
I am quite pleased with thsi result as along with Sheff Wed I saw brentford as another side who could challenge us for top six so should we win today we will open up quite a gap on one of our main rivals. Plenty of time to catch Burnley.

Re: Brentford
Didn't they reach the play-off games last season ? Going to be hard to duplicate that achievement this time around. Put them down as one-hit wonders maybe. As for the opposition they're in a much better position to challenge and can still possess a realistic chance of an auto promotion.
