did we invest the money we got from mings transfer wisely.why i ask this question is,we were told by many that most of the money went on improved contracts for some of the squad.so do people think those who got the extra wages have earned it this year or are they not as hungry as they were,when playing for a new contract.apart from sears me personaly would have said there a new contact for those who were due one,but at the same money.i cant see any of them getting beter wages anywhere else in todays climate.

I don't know what salaries individual players earn at the club but we sold Mings for some seven million if correct and it seems apparent that money hasn't been fully invested. A number of players brought in on a free such as Coke and Douglas and you got players such as Pitman and Knudsen who came in but can't recall the transfer fees paid unless they were in fact undisclosed at time of arrival. Surely the expenditure from the Mings sale hasn't all gone on those players ?

If some players have indeed been awarded higher salary for their efforts as put forward by the author then that is for sure questionable. (It's not as if a great many are deserving of this increase given the season's progression)
