Yes we beat Derby the other night. But.....

Our style of play is the REAL issue that continues to divide Town fans and frankly why there is a growing base if fans that have simply had enough of it and frankly, want Mick out.

This the view of yet another fan posting on TWTD. He is nor unreasonable in his observations nor comments IMO. I am certainly of the same view with a lot of the points he makes.

Your Thoughts good people of TB.com?

We're all pleased that we won last night but SURELY we have to be concerned at the unsustainable style of play? Yes, it's all about results, but on another night Derby would have bagged 3-4 of their 25+ shots.

Just watched the frankly embarrassing highlights of us hacking the ball clear and desperately blocking the entire game. It felt like watching FA Cup highlights on 3rd round day - Prem vs Conference outfit!

Even the commentator said on more than one occasion "here comes the huge pump up field to Varney" and "humped forward to no avail". In fact that final quote sums up our style of play.

We're all town fans here. Yes we won. Yes we're in reasonable shape in the table but by God we're within our rights to question and worry about the way we set up every single week. It's not entertainment anymore and I don't know if I can actually stomach it much longer. We literally are playing like reincarnations of Wimbledon and Cambridge!

I best not offer my thoughts, but if this guy thinks we play like that every single week he wasnt at Brentford, Wolves or Norwich games.
