Shane: most of this Protest talk comes from the TWTD site, so take a gander on there you might find what your looking for and who's organising it on Saturday.

Had a look in some 10, 15 minutes back, and could find no mention of any proposed event for this weekend. Most prominent subjects were illegal housing and the new Trainspotting movie, but nothing in the way of what you seek. Add to that, the East Anglian Daily Times (just for good measure) have no news on such a story.

Best guess would be there will be a small group during (or after) the Reading game voicing opinion about our current predicament but seriously, who other than themselves will be taking any notice ? Not Milne, Not Evans and certainly not McCarthy himself.

Probably just bounce of the latter's rhino skin and won't be dictated to by a small number of support. No harm in trying, but you got to realize sometimes you're essentially facing a futile endeavor.

How is the protest coming on, anyone know ? I am wondering if I should take a crash helmet with me.

A tablecloth was brought to yesterday's game with the wording "Evans wake up or sell up", that appears to be the extent of it. A user from Those Were The Days has accepted responsibility to it, and was received with ridicule and applause in what seems equal measure.

The chances that Evans (himself) noticed or acknowledged it is in so many words 'minimal', but at least a level of initiative was shown by a small selection of the support. (It was one of the leading subjects on the aforementioned forum incidentally when last viewed, if anyone wishes to glean additional information)

Spontaneous protests are the best, I joined in with one years back to oust Sheepshanks. One of the more sober protesters was invited for a sit down in his office. But history says, it got us no where.
