Anyone who has watched the U-23s regularly, will know that we possess a number of talented youngsters with great potential - who play the sort of football traditionally associated with ITFC.

The fact that we're now starting to see them in and around the first team is, I think, a mixture of needs must, together with a deliberate change of attitude by MM towards using academy resources. The latter resulting from internal discussions - initiated by ME who invests sugnificantly in the academy - following last season's disappointing performances. In short, MM now embracing a 'Give Youth A Chance' approach; as opposed to 'you'll win nowt with kids'. I think this change is leading us to a much better place, both on and off the pitch.

It might be internal discussions, but without the injury crisis - would we see so many kids involved?

Its really great what the kids did last night and just builds on the good-feel factor that's coming back, but I doubt that many will be involved when the senior players come back. Downes and Nydam should be involved more, but not sure how many more will make the squad over the next season. Be great if we can get some of these League 1 or 2 loan deals.

Aw man, Donald Trump. Not getting political, but what a guy! Any other President could say, "If North Korea lands any missile on Guam, there will be big, BIG trouble," .... and most of us would probably start shittin bricks......., but I laughed my a$$ off watching Trumpton say it.
