I was (for my sins) gleaning information from their Pink 'Un message board and as would expect, there is some anticipation for the upcoming encounter. One item of notice was the issue of to what degree do they dislike this club.

My take : At least we GOT a history. Wouldn't call 35 years ancient also, yes it's nice to look back and those times may never be replicated but when your (own) greatest achievement is winning a League Cup final no-one can remember or gives a sh*t about then best keep your opinions to yourself.
"Loathe and hate them with a passion. No desire whatsoever to set foot in Scum Central other than for the derby game. Never watch them on the tellybox unless they have been soundly beaten. Nothing worse than spotting a Scum shirt on holiday. Could not even contemplate them in The Premiership. Nothing better than seeing a grown Scummer cry after we beat them"
Not much to add. Can't recall seeing a City fan on any vacation, do any fans here actually shed tears in the event of a Norwich victory ? Worst result in recent time was the '85 semi-final but life will throw far worse at you. Incidentally what the f*ck is a 'tellybox'

Extend the courtesy and dig up Norfolk and send them off to Denmark. Furthermore we'd most likely be welcome in the Netherlands with the Thijssen / Muhren connection and UEFA Cup endeavors

but this game does seem far more important to them than us. We want the points, to continue our climb towards the top of the table.

Point is, throughout your 'illustrious' history, there isn't much else for us to refer to. Is a game between us more important to one side than the other ?
