Former Town trialist Nahki Wells' two goals took a "crack" in Town's promotion hopes in making the Premier League and as you can see Delia has been doing same this week
Nice to see got my prediction spot on joker as well

4th prediction spot on so far this season though went for Murphy first goal wrong way round.

Final score 2-0 with Didsy and Murphy scoring again. A massive Three points in what could have been a typical banana skin.

Results went well for us too with teams above and around us slipping up, we are well back in the mix and Four points from next week two very tough games would be a good return.

Today certainly put to bed all this new manager jinx crap and we can now stop talking about the stupid no win in five nonsense, it is 1 defeat in 11 games. FACT.

Some tough games coming up and that is why today's result was so important, especially confidence wise.
Just wish we could stop picking up these niggling injuries. Would be happy with 4 points from the next 2 home games especially if that means we can beat Watford as I can't stand them.

Sounds as though Bishop was the star man, great work for the second and decisive goal.

Yes, it is a bit concerning the number of injuries we now appear to have. Williams, Gerken, Bru, parr, Skuse, Bishop, lets hope some are only minor and clear up for Tuesday.

I too would be well happy with Four points from next weeks two games although having won today I am now feeling greedy.

Great away win ITFC.

With the Wolves drawing at the Mol today against shitty Birmingham..... Maybe town can turn them over and put a few past them. Or it'll go the opposite way as the wolves arses will have been kicked. Difficult one.

Really sound, professional, performance - 3 of the so called 6 points given away, regained! Well done to all the boys, and a clean sheet to boot. Special praise for Teddy Bishop, whose ability, and further potential, is something to be excited about.

On now to Wolves, hopefully with confidence and self-belief boosted. Let's hope the injuries are mainly niggles, with no major adverse affects. Watched Wolves draw 0-0 with Birmingham - themselves beaten 8-0 by B'mouth last week. Funny old game, isn't it? :)

I don't think it,s 3 of the 6 Pts lost we need to get them back when we are losing or drawing a game and win in the last few mins of a match.
On paper we should beat Blackpool considering where they are in the league.
But a very good result to keep up with the teams above us.

Point taken about Blackpool; but matches are not played on paper, and we could easily be discussing a different outcome. Hopefully - for a change! - we'll also get points in the way you describe. All points gratefully received!

We can't make real conclusions whether we have 'turned' the corner following recent winless run. Blackpool team was very poor and we aren't going to play worse opposition this season that's for sure. We have really tough schedule this month and we can judge the situation after forthcoming games.

Apart from McGoldricks goal there was a couple of amusing moments. Bialkowski was forced to make a sort of spectacular save after Hunt's backpass/shot. Would have been one of the greatest own goals ever in the history of football.

The other one was Hunts shot again. This time he hit the top of the stand.

Very poor first half but we weren't forced to graft in all honesty.

This has been easiest ever game for Ipswich defence. Not really troubled apart from first 15 mins of second half but still Blackpool forwards lacked quality.
Our players seemed lazy and I feared conceding some stupid equaliser.

A few minutes later the game was fortunately over due to amazing Bishop's stunt. Brilliant slalom between Blackpool defenders rounded off with the pass to Murphy and second goal was a formality.

The game was over as Blackpool players were completely unable to threaten. This bunch of players wouldn't even survive in League One I believe.

Sammon missed one on one towards the end of game and if there is a reason to 'complain' we could have been greedy for more goals and make smashing goal difference. Win is a win though. 3 points were imperative today no matter in what style.

Been in Blackpool numeruous times and never seen their crowd such quiet and despaired as they were today. When we were in our darkest and worst era 2 years ago all we have to do was a change of manager. They are in even worse situation with no hope whatsoever as Karl Oyston is systematically destroying their club. To think people complain about foreign owners in English game. Blackpool fans would die today for some Asian or Arab mysterious one.

Chambo's fist pump and joy is getting better and better ! Our mood certainly better today but this month (excluding todays game) is a real test for us.

Thanks Mach great report as usual, and good to get a fans eye view of things. Bishop is really something special according to reports and hes been doing it since Mick showed some faith in the young lad. Bishop was also class at wigan, would love to see a midfield trio og Hyam Bishop and in the middle Williams with Skuse as the back diamond in the midfield sitting infront of the back four at away matches.

This month is a real test for us with four hard games against top positioned teams ,so come december we can see our real credentials. It wont mean we are up or relegation fodder just a realistic picture of the squad of players we have and where the team are at present.

Would love to see mick be adventurous and really go for the jugular in the home games at least. We have some players that have´nt had a sniff yet, with games soon coming thick and fast and three players on four yellow cards Micks hand may be forced with a little shake up. Good to keep a clean sheet away from home,Blackpool or not.

I guess we'd all have been disappointed had we lost at Blackpool, but even these so called "easy games" can still be lost and sooner or later Blackpool will pick up a win, I'm just pleased it wasn't us and three away points are always welcome.

We now sit nicely placed in the table only just outside the play off zone and hopefully we can stay in touch even with a run of difficult fixtures.
