Re: Ipswich Town vs AFC Bournemouth Match Preview
Prior to reading the thoughts of Bournemouth fans regarding ITFC I had a lot of time and respect for what they were doing this season but as far as I am concerned now they can feck off, bunch of egotistical arseholes, while they are still without doubt a very talented side who play nice football I hope they crash and burn, starting this afternoon. Re: Ipswich Town vs AFC Bournemouth Match Preview
Very interesting preview frostynz. Well done !
Don't know how many times I've watched various videos of Chaplows goal at Watford. 50? 60? Maybe more? My enthusiasm and hopes have been truly and well reignited. I had been really dejected following 1 point in 4 games last month (point against Brentford, defeats to Norwich, Leeds and Middlesbrough). Not only defeats just the Micks reluctance to make changes.
All of sudden we're back in the top 2 race I dare to say. Watford game has turned out to be a massive lift for the club and fans followed by arrivals of Williams, Fryers and return of McGoldrick.
As for today I'm really nervous and can't think of anything else. I'm being eaten up inside as it could be yet another 'turning point' of the season for us. Win will mean staying in the top 2 race whereas if we lose we'll have to focus solely on securing play-off place.
Don't want to lose to them. What really strikes me is a staggering arrogance of Bournemouth fans. Not having a problem with their team who are where they are on merit but that club has been in this league for 5 minutes and their fans sound really cocky.
What could be also dangerous is their dives and attempts to win penalties. Wonder if there is any team in the country who have had more penalties this season.
Prediction? I don't have a bloody clue. Just want us to give 100% like they did at Watford, want to see McGoldrick and Williams in the 2nd half. Please don't let them beat us Blues and Mick !!!

The pressure to get 3 points is higher now Wolves and Brentford are both winning.

Definitely need a second goal quick-sharp, though. Can't see 1-0 being enough at the moment...

Great start and fair play to the Sears kid, have doubted him at times but that was a vital contribution. Still a long way to go in this game but we have the lead that is all important. Do not let them back in it
Shame about some of the earlier scores involving promotion rivals but what's done is done. Let's just concentrate on our own objectives and keep this up and get those damn three points. This will be great for morale if we can once again beat one of the league heavyweights and take it into the remainder of this seasons fixtures.

Re: Ipswich Town vs AFC Bournemouth Match Preview
Half-time is now here and half a job well done. It's a real concern that the opposition have had so much possession and chances themselves but we have the lead and that's the most aspect of any game.
Going to be a tense second-half with so much to play for and it's going to be a real test of character for both teams but McCarthy will be doubtless aware of the importance of the next 45 minutes and give his half-time team talk accordingly. No match is over until the final whistle so let's keep this going and get this vital win today.

It's certainly not going to be easy but if we concentrate I think we can do this.

To be fair KJ did brilliantly to get between Smith & Skuse. Let's hope it doesn't get any worse, even better maybe we can still sneak a win.

Re: Ipswich Town vs AFC Bournemouth Match Preview
With only 37% possession we've done well to hold them to a draw....
I'll certainly be rooting for Watford later tonight.

We don't look like scoring, i think we could be here all night and still not score a 2nd. A draw is ok it keeps us in the Playoffs. The next 3 games are massive for us.Charnwood wrote:To be fair KJ did brilliantly to get between Smith & Skuse. Let's hope it doesn't get any worse, even better maybe we can still sneak a win.
