Chambers out so can't see a clean sheet, saying that the way we are playing it was unlikely anyway. Fancy a high scoring draw 3-3.

My son is a ball boy for today's match.

Bright, sunny day here in good ole Ipswich - great for football later. Watched plucky Burton beat B'ham last night, despite going 1-0 down. They did so with a significant injury list, but rolled over B'ham in the second half by a high-pressure, attacking, performance. We could do worse against Brentford. Get the balance right between extra protection for our weakened defence, and using our much improved midfield and attacking threat to best effect. Bring it on!

Another caption entry:

A few stalwarts remained in their seats for the half-time entertainment: James Blunt live!

I watched that too and Burton did lift themselves after the break but I also thought Birmingham imploded somewhat, anything is possible I guess but if we pull this off today it will be some feat as Brentford are no Birmingham and have played some super stuff this season with little reward, the only positive thing for me is that they too have struggled defensively so we have to get at them with our Four pronged attack although i don't think we will start with Four strikers today, I am expecting Didsy and or Sears to be on the bench, hopefully the latter.

What a fabulous weekend to look forward to!! The blues hopefully making it five in a row, can,t wait to see the team sheet and just how on earth MM is going to make a defence out of next to sod all! soo excited about this game, then tomorrow, my 1970 Honda CB 350 arrives for me to sit beside my 500 in the spare bedroom, another 12 month project in the warm through the winter nights, life just don,t get much better for me at the mo!! apart from my health to worry about (Big C ) but my boys in blue and my bikes keep me happy, i think we can do this today, what a high that will be come 5pm?

Is loading up with more defensive players the best thing?

Brentford can't score if they're worrying about us in their half.

If we sit deeper with more of our players behind the ball .... we'll invite goals. Hanging in their for a 0-0 is suicide.

Terrible injury nightmare.... but I say go with the flow and build on our attacking game. Spence, Iorfa, Knudsen, Kenlock, Wolfy or whoever .... they'll just have to do a job in defenceand if our attacking players can worry Brentford, then they'll help our defence offensively.

Worst thing that can happen is we'll lose.... It's not like we have to kick start our season with 0 or 1 point. Hope Mick doesn't over-think this.... just go for it.

I dont for one second think we will go in to the game hoping to cling on for a point, I think we are forced into 3-5-2 though as I cant for the life of me see Mick playing Knudsen at CB in a flat back Four and if he goes with Iorfa & Spence in a 4-4-2 then we have no RB so for me it has to be 3-5-2 with Kenlock & Ward as wing backs, Skuse & Downes are certs to play leaving three places between the Four strikers, I can Waghorn playing in just behind Garner and hopefully Didsy.

Luke Woolfenden, just isn't ready or good enough yet. He got 45 minutes and with Chambo beside him did ok but the Championship is far removed from league Two opposition.

Few things, in order of importance:

1/ Karlywoo. All the very best to you. I echo Bluemikes words, word for word. Get the health sorted and enjoy restoring the motorbikes.

2/ Hope the bairn enjoyed being mascot at PR today, Ando. The win will make it all the more memorable.

3/ ITFC....... awesome win again. Knudsen @ CB?? Very interested to read how he faired. Well done to Mick & Co.

4/ HFC??? Absolutely no clue how it went so colossally tits up today. Defeats happen, just didn't expect it be Hamilton at ER.

5/ Wolferino....... sounded like a superb game at the Mol, but very unlucky today. I'd say well done Cardiff, but they are keeping ITFC off top spot, so in the words of Harry Enfield......
"CARDIFF CITY..... NOOOOO!"
