Re: 2024/25 PREMIER LEAGUE fixtures.
If we can bring in a new keeper and at least 1 top class central defender I think we could at the very least keep the goals against respectable.
I’m also concerned that we really do need a new No9 as I’m not sure either Hurst or Al-Hamadi are good enough to lead our attack.
I think these are our top priorities.

Re: 2024/25 PREMIER LEAGUE fixtures.
I'm not overly concerned about a keeper tbh, maybe it's just me but I'm content with Hladky although I suspect there will be another coming through the door.
Another striker is deffo needed, preferably one with Premier league experience, but I'm happy to keep the other Three, we need Four strikers for the season ahead.

Re: 2024/25 PREMIER LEAGUE fixtures.
First post on the forum.
Firstly, massive well done on the promotion guys. You must be buzzing. I’m an Ipswich ‘follower’ rather than supporter. Have managed to get to a game before.
My old man was born and bred in Ipswich and this is why the club is very much my adopted “English team”.
I want to take him to see Ipswich play in the EPL next season. My question for you guys is- how difficult will it be to get my hands on a few away tickets? I’m thinking of the games closest to Scotland e.g. Manchester; Newcastle; Villa…
Any idea what the allocation will be and whether I have a chance in hell of getting my hands on a few?
Thanks in advance!!

Re: 2024/25 PREMIER LEAGUE fixtures.
Hi and welcome to the forum, hopefully you'll stick around.
Regarding away tkts, I think it might be difficult but not impossible, I believe I am right in saying you get 10% of the ground capacity as an allocation so some of the bigger grounds may well reach general sale which is what you'll need to happen, that of course brings in the likes of Newcastle and the Manchester clubs etc. I think we can safely say that every game will sell out.

Welcome Scottish, and definitely stick around. Only others on this forum from north of the English border are myself and Valleyroad to educate these good people on how the beautiful game should be played ——>>> Mud + Hoofball = 90 mins of entertainment.
You’ll get Forfar Athletic chat, St.Mirren chat, Celtic chat and Hibernian chat. I think there are many Sevco fans but hardly any of that chat……. A tad defunct, like the old RFC.
And KL Blue is a closet jambo! Tut tut tut.
Stick around, & hopefully you can be part of the matchday chat next season when you get tickets.

Re: 2024/25 PREMIER LEAGUE fixtures.
We get a club name first off after 22 years away that arguably can't stand the most. It's not an ideal pick but if we're going to make an impression and turn heads on our return we can only take on what's in front of us. Believe we got Manchester City directly or soon after, don't know who picks out these damn fixtures or someone's got it in for us but really could have asked for two easier games to start off with.
We need to do what we did before back in 2000, catch people out and make a season of it. Say again a lot of teams will be unfamiliar with us particularly after so long away and we can use that to our advantage. I'd expect 30,000 capacity at Portman Road for the first game, a partizan and vociferous crowd and now Klopp has left them it seems they can be got at. To win would be fantastic, a draw acceptable, but the idea of losing to those.. first off, kind of fills one with dread and trepidation. Just make sure we avoid such a thing and take a result from it.

Re: 2024/25 PREMIER LEAGUE fixtures.
Big welcome to TB's, ScottishBlue .... great to have you on board. Feel free to pile in with posts and just watch that ole marko, a less than closet Hibbies fan. But which Scottish club do you support?
If you wanted at some point, to watch a Town game at Portman Road, the club last season did a buy back scheme to ST holders who couldn't attend a game for whatever reason. The club would then re sell that seat, often on thd day of the game. It might be worth contacting Mark Ashton ( CEO), directly, ahead of the new season, putting over your situation and what you might like to do for your dad. As busy as he is right now with player recruitment, I feel certain , he will reply to you.
Stay with the forum. We do have our moments, but most of us have been posting for years and some of us have even met up b4 a game.

Do the hospitality if you can. Tickets go on sale before the other seats and there is no priority for members or such

Re: 2024/25 PREMIER LEAGUE fixtures.
Might be - depends on the grade of game and the package, will definitely increase due to premier league standing now.
I’ve done a few of the different options. £100-200 per head depending on package but that was league one and champ - mix of grade games. If it’s a treat / special occasion then it’s worth it IMO. I don’t get to many games so it’s easier to justify.

Thanks everyone.
Looks like we might struggle here
Hospitality is financially out of my reach. I will roll the dice nearer the time to see if I can get tix but I imagine that demand will outweigh supply and would I be right in saying that away tix will be allocated to ST holders first? No probs with that tho.

I expect the vlub to announce ticketing protocol for coming season. The minimum number the club will get is 3k , which will sell out undoubtedly, but some of these stadiums are massive , eg Man City, so perhaps we’d get a much bigger allocation for some games?

My son Scott is trying his hardest to get Arsenal v ITFC tickets at the Emirates.hallamblue wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 6:46 pmI expect the vlub to announce ticketing protocol for coming season. Re: 2024/25 PREMIER LEAGUE fixtures.
I’ve always found it quite easy to get Arsenal tickets at the Emirates Stadium. There appears to be a significant number of seats available for every home game sold by season ticket holders who regularly can’t go to games but won’t give up their seats as there’s a long waiting list for new season tickets. I don’t think Boxing Day will be any different but may cost a few quid more.marko69 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 7:10 pmMy son Scott is trying his hardest to get Arsenal v ITFC tickets at the Emirates.hallamblue wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 6:46 pmI expect the vlub to announce ticketing protocol for coming season. Oh that’s brilliant news then for these big clubs. How big is Man City’s ground then? I can see Town fans attending in vast numbers this season.

Re: 2024/25 PREMIER LEAGUE fixtures.
It’s about 55,000 Liz, but much less than Manchester United circa 74,000 and Tottenham, West Ham United, Liverpool and Arsenal which each hold more than 60,000.hallamblue wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 5:37 pmOh that’s brilliant news then for these big clubs.
