The problem we have now is Wimbledon will be getting 10 men behind the ball and we’ve always struggled against that.

Not really unlocking them, Clarke looks most likely, we need Omari on, Johnson is incredibly bad this half

We can’t unlock them as there’s no space to work in. In truth we could never afford to go behind.

For those who think we just have to turn up Saturday to get something, think again, this is not impressive

All I’ll say is that an Ipswich 11, not a “team”. Those players have never played together before and certainly not in a 4-4-2 …. Wimbledon are an established team and know each others play. We’re an 11 of individuals…

We need to stay in this comp this season to give a large squad of players some game time.

I think they made a lot of changes from the team that played on Saturday.hallamblue wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2024 9:25 pmAll I’ll say is that an Ipswich 11, not a “team”. Just hope we’ve got some decent penalty takers on the pitch.

Interesting that Lyle Foster played for Burnley tonight. Maybe that deal isn't going to happen.

2 misses from Jack Taylor and a shocker from Omari and out we go 4-2 on pens.
So disappointing after 2 years of success. I know there’s lots of excuses and reasons why but it can’t be good for confidence or morale.
So much possession but so little to show for it.

As long as it’s not the geezer from Burnley.
Lyle Foster who I see came on for Burnley tonight as a 58 min substitute.
