Interesting, looks to be 5 at the back against, good signal of intent that the system isn't going to be a flash in the pan in McKenna's thinking!

Actually I guess I'm probably (possibly) wrong. Godfrey at RB rather than CB and Burns further up, not wing back.

Voted for a Bristol win while there's still time and got no shame in it. Viewed the squad put out and we're obviously not taking it seriously. This is a Cup game against lower league opposition, you do the math, we're not supposed to progress in games of this nature.

Most likely be tied score at 90 minutes, go to overtime but lose in a penalty contest. They don't do replays anymore, so much for tradition.

I'd like to win, I want to win, progress and reach further rounds, however given our record in this competition particularly against lower league opposition and the team again put out the confidence just isn't there in hope to go further. At least we seem to be starting two in attack, guess that's got to be worth something. Let's just hope to win the damn thing and move on.

I can’t believe how many empty seats there are in the ground. I thought I’d read it was a sell out.

Another stone wall penalty decision gone against us when Jack Clarke was taken down. But who cares now Phillips has scored on 17 mins. A very good assist from Jack Clarke. ⚽️

1-0 Town

They said 27,000 were sold only 1000 Rovers fans.

Given where the seats are I can’t believe they weren’t released for town fans.

2-0 Jack Clarke ⚽️

Shocking mis hit shot from Al Hamadi will give him the credit for an assist.

It looked yards offside to me unless it came off their player.

Just proving his worth, he's a shocking player and needs to be moved on, if I were the Derby County manager, I would give him an extensive wide birth, this is only my opinion Others think he's ok, But deffo not for me.

We could equal Man City’s 8-0 at this rate.

Very professional first half by Town. Muric proved again why he is dropped from Premier League 🫣

That's the away supporters area. Only 900 Bristol Rovers fans attending

Poor penalty miss by Ali. But should never of been a penalty in the first place. 🙅‍♂️

I think that’s prettty obvious, I just don’t understand why some of the seats couldn’t have been released to home fans as long as segregation rules are adhered to which could have been achieved easily.

Poor penalty from a poor player but I agree it was never a penalty given his closeness to where the ball was struck from.

Isn't there a rule dictating how many tickets you have to offer to the opposition? I'd guess it was something like that, being too basic and against common sense to allow exceptions.

I think he was bought in when it looked highly likely we might be spending another season in the Championship. He’s never looked like a Premier League player to me and most likely never will be.
