Is this the Chambers that is one minute getting stick for being an undroppable and now according to the 'other' site is now essential for our team! which one is it?

We won't know about chambers until team info is released. But club seemed fairly desperate to get the international clearance for Taylor in time for tonight...
Id be sad to see chambo leave, he's been a good servant to us. I would rather lose Berra to hearts and keep him, Berra will be gone in summer anyway. We could get another couple.of years out of chambers at cb

Looks as if Chambo is staying put! Que new contract announcement, with a modest uplift in wages, no doubt!

Exactly, and where pray are we going to now play fit again Smith, and Taylor, now Chambers has been stopped from going to Forest, unless of course Mick's going to drop Berra and Chambo for smudger and Taylor, oh I know what he'll do play Chambo at RB rather than Emanuel, Smith and Taylor on the Bench, the mind boggles, he's really set himself a Pandora's box selection problem, will be very interesting to see how he sorts that lot out, and keep them (all the new signings) happy, best of luck Mick you'll s certainly need it over the next few games.

Think theres more to it than that.
Chambers got stick playing at RB. He's now playing CB ( his best position) with Webster injured. Berras out of sorts, Digby is not really up to it and we have no idea if Taylor is fit or up for it. He's now gone from dodgy RB to best CB in the club. So I can see reasoning from fans who criticised him for RB performances and now find it difficult to understand why we might flog him at last minute without time to get cover.
Might seem like two-faced fickleness but this should never come to the last day. Fans aren't too blame, decisions between player and club over contract/future should have been resolved weeks ago.

It's a bit misleading this Chambers contract thing, we have an option on another year as it stands so plenty of time to negotiate in the Summer, now is hardly the time.

Only thing is... is Chambers happy or seriously pissed off? Contracts are one thing - but we don't want a player ( especially the captain) who doesn't want to be here.
We've got Berra who's apparently wants to head back to Scotland.... and he's looking shaky at the minute... and having another senior player who's future is unresolved doesn't help.
Fact is ... we can't afford to release them even if we want to.

...and neither of them wants to be at the Club now. Knudsen is crap and there's no guarantee that Taylor will just drop into the team and hit the ground running.
Feb is a massive, Club defining month I. think.

Drop Chambers as he's no good to man or beast!!!
has let the team down many times and does not
have any passion for ITFC.
Put Taylor in his place who has far more experience!!!

I did reply but have edited it for fear of upsetting people, that comment about Chambers having no passion for ITFC really does expose you len for what I and a few others know that you are, it really is ridiculous.

...ooo a "Town" fan who regularly posts on the pink Un. Not very bright of you. You have also posted a few comments that illustrate that you don't even know which positions some of our regular players play in. ..... and your most recent comment regarding Chambers is not a commonly held view by us Town fans.
You're a TROLL, sling yer hook.
