I found that the search engine Brave gets round the paywall Liz. Just go through the settings and select block Java script and i can access the page contents.
I’ve never heard of that one! So do I download it then just search via it for eadt … but before I do that go through search engine settings but first ?
Not very IT savvy sorry

Yes you can either Google "Brave search engine" or download via Google Play store. Once you hafe it search EADT. Then go through settings to disable scripts.

I have just followed your advice and working so far. Thanks, particularly as EADT is one of the few media where I can get some news of my homeland and especially that relating to ITFC.

As Mike has stated on the other transfer thread, has gone a bit quiet on our front, but thats not to say things are going on and keeping our cards close to our chest. Guess this is the case as to all the crappy rumours doing the rounds.
Just hope they come up with a royal flush soon.
But if we compare it to last season any activity would look slow, guess we are all just keen to see reinforcements soon as possible, never know could get a couple of new arrivals in rapid succession.

Remember last season was different as the winter WC meant the season started alot earlier, so everything was pushed forward a little.

Midfielder Idris El Mizouni has rejoined Leyton Orient on loan for the 2023/24 season.
As previously reported, a number of clubs in League One, including Derby, Wycombe and Charlton as well as the O’s, and some in the Championship, among them Watford and Plymouth, were keen on the Tunisia international.
Speaking on Saturday, manager Kieran McKenna said El Mizouni had spoken to a number of sides and was considering where he would spend the season.
Town have an option to recall El Mizouni, who has had previous loan spells at Cambridge United (twice) and Grimsby, in January.

I reckon he’ll end up signing for them permanently.

Fair play, at least they love him and he’ll start. If he went to Derby I worry he wouldn’t start most games etc.

Hmmm so Mason Greenwood?? Personally I hope not. But he'd be a strong player in the champ that's for sure

What?! Where is that rumour coming from? Surely a load of clubs would be after him, even with the personal history - if we put that aside (obv not easily done) he would destroy the championship. Surely he is on a big contract or did it get ripped up? You’d at least expect half the lower prem clubs to go for him?

I've seen it mentioned here and there. Apparently Man U staff including the women's team are dead against him continuing at the club. Mourinho is apparently wanting to take him to Roma. But there's the McKenna Man U connection...

Such a slim chance of him coming here - he could play in most half decent team across Europe, you could see him moving abroad to get away from the media here / Dortmund or such. He will be on decent money and now way drop down to this pay level.

Nah you're probably right. Have seen it mentioned on fb chats but probably just tittle tattle

I’ve had footie prompts come up on my phone re football rumours etc when I’m about yo use google … and Derby interest in Freddie Ladapo is constantly there…
No moving with us yet but I think that’s because we’re after quality players who don’t become available until near end of the window. I could see maybe 2 or3 players all moving at once in the last week, with possibly some current first teamers potentially leaving. What do others feels?

Can't see Freddie leaving unless it's a very good fee, and we are able to bring in two good strikers first. Would also be a risk as at least Freddie is settled and knows the team etc
Agree we may need to be patient on transfers, but at least we have a good settled core group already here.

Makes sense, sell Goks for 18m and pay maybe 5-6m for simms, money left for other signings etc.

If they get into PL on the back of that £3.5m initial fee it’ll be prudent though won’t it. The extra might be dependent upon promotion, just like Posh’s Jack Taylor deal with us.

Yeah makes sense, especially as they have upto 18m burning a hole in their pocket now.

No way would I be wanting to pay that, I don't know if its just me but I don't even fancy Coventry to be up there this time, that said I didn't fancy them last season either lol.

They are a bit of a “ meh” club really aren’t they. Like I say, it’s all about money these days. The players that come to us, are not fixated on JUST what they’ll get paid.

CEO Mark Ashton says the Blues are working on making further additions to the squad despite the market currently being slow, Jack Taylor having become the first signing of the summer when he joined for an initial £1.5 million from Peterborough United a fortnight ago.
The signing of midfielder Taylor came as little surprise, the Blues having chased the 25-year-old since last summer.
“We’ve looked at Jack for, I think it’s well-documented, probably three windows now,” Ashton told the new Official Ipswich Town Podcast.
“It was a tough deal to do, a tough negotiation, I would have expected nothing else, but we got our man, we’re delighted he’s here and I think he’ll bring something else to us.
“He’ll bring more competition for places and he’s a good footballer that we’ve wanted for a while.
“But we need to bring some more in, we’re working on that now. The transfer market’s a little bit dry, it’s a little bit slow when you’re looking at what all the other clubs have done.
“We’re very specific on what we want. Kieran’s very specific on the type of player that he wants, so we’re working through that consistently and you’ll be seeing more faces come in the door, I’m sure.”
Taylor says he expected to join the Blues in the winter window: “It was no secret, was it? I was linked for the last two windows and, to be honest, I thought I was coming in January.
“I wanted to come in January, so I’m obviously delighted. And it played a massive part, knowing that the manager and the club really wanted me to come.”

Bit of a pointless one
