Bloody hell looking at this players stock, he seems to be an awesone signing, on FREEBIE!!
Think Town will be ripping up trees once we fully click, and all players are back fit ( we have a hell of an injury list right now guys).

Is this for real? That guy is flippin superb. What a crosser of the ball......, and he can finish. Whether or not he only plays against shyte keepers is besides the point; this is a very good footballer. If true, well done TC & Choo Choo

Totally one out of the blue , this guy looks a real talent , the piece stating he has the highest cross success rate in the dutch league is a great indicator imo as the dutch really are a technical style league..this could be a real coup for us..well done to the management .!!!

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread
Well I guess AMN is only on loan so we needed another player of the same quality on the left.
Looks like great business.
It will be interesting to see if Malarczyk goes straight in on Saturday given that Berra is out for a month, thankfully the international break being half of it. He will be badly missed for sure.

Malarczyk hasn't signed in time to play i don't think. Emmanuel will play i assume like he did at Brentford.Dubai Blue wrote:Well I guess AMN is only on loan so we needed another player of the same quality on the left.

That's a shame. But it sounded like Emmanuel did okay at Brentford after the first 30 mins or so. Hopefully he'll manage to repeat that performance.

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread
Wow! We will have some real attacking options all over the pitch. It will save having to play strikers out wide when our wingers tire, we can just swap with like for like.
I have a bruised arm where I keep pinching myself. Can this really be happening to our club.
Wherever we finish we will be entertained without doubt.

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread
DIDnt know anything about this Tommy Oar and was maybe a little concerned that he was released by Utrecht.... maybe a young player who never realised his potential and was on a downturn. Saw initially he played only 18 games last season as opposed to 30+ from previous two seasons, so that added to my doubts.
Read up on him and he had injuries at the start of last season meaning that he missed games. He was offered an extension to his contract , but in February said he wanted to run down his contract and look to moving to an EPL, German or Spanish side. Seems like either no big club came in for him or he was not happy with offers. Seems like he's been trying to tie up his future since June. Turned down Ajax as he wanted to leave Holland.
Obviously, someone with ambition who wants to kick on. I guess as he's a free agent the transfer window is not a problem, but he needed to find a club. Being top of the division, albeit after 4 games, must help his decision.
Not sure how fit he is as I'm not sure if he has had any pre-season training. I'm pretty excited with this one, but Championship will be a big step up from Eredivisie in terms of the physical side. Used to be a season ticket holder of AZ and Eredivise is a walk in the park compared to the 46 game slogfest of the Championship.
Looks like he's got a fair bit of pace, very direct and got a great cross in his left peg. Very interesting signing if we do tie him up.

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread
Whilst Town have had a quiet deadline day a couple of our Championship rivals have been busy. Derby County have spent a record £10.5m bringing in Jacob Butterfield from Huddersfield & Bradley Johnson from Norwich, this takes their summer spending over £20m. Meanwhile Preston have signed two interesting strikers, Eoin Doyle from Cardiff & Stevie May from Sheffield Wednesday. Hopefully our more frugal acquisitions will be far more effective than these last minute panic buys.
Just a thought, David De Gea on loan maybe?
