I guess we've gone on the defensive, or has Freddie run himself into the ground?

Was it in the net and ruled offside?

That's a bit of a thorn in the side innit? Could've done with them losing before the derby game.

7 out of the top 8 won tonight and that's only because Bournemouth did not play . Un Fu**ing believable.

On a slightly different note......, how the hell are Bristol Rovers top of the conference? Last time I looked, Barnet were about 14 points clear at the top.

What a game sure that please the "haters" after Saturday. Brilliant seeing Mings & Bru getting first goals for Town and Sears getting first brace at PR.

But it baffles me after Mings scoring 1st goal for Town from a "corner" yet we still send him to the half way line in the 2nd half when we get corners don't get it does anyone else?

Mings is the quickest defender by far. In the second half protecting a lead you need your quickest defender to be there should the opposition counter attack

To be honest I'm more than happy to take any win tonight whatever the score and however achieved. That was so so much needed.

Well done boys, I'm sure that will settle a lot of nerves...

... at least for a few days.

A much better display and outcome than Saturday although as usual we did make it hard for ourselves, thanks in no small part to a terrible performance by Bialkowski who apart form the goal that he let slip through him was flapping about all over the place, he dropped one cross in the first half too which we got away with. Looking at other results it was a massive Three points and puts us up to 3rd for a time anyway.

I love Freddie Sears, we ahve not had a striker at the club like him for years, two superb, composed finishes when through on the keeper, I guarantee anyone we would not have got either of those had it been Didsy because he just would not have had the pace to hold off the defenders, great stuff and I am chuffed that he has cemented his place in the starting line up Sunday. Congratulations also to Tyrone Mings & Kevin Bru for their first goals for the club, sop good not to have to rely on Murphy who still managed to hit the post and have another well saved by the keeper, I agree with Lucy, the mask is definitely affecting him somehow.

The line up was pleasing with Parr in from the start too but it was a big loss when Skuse had to go off which I think may be a back problem, not sure, he had started well again and will be a big miss Sunday if not fit. We definitely played at a higher tempo than we did Saturday and created far more real chances, the defence does still worry me at the moment though and pace seems to be causing us to panic. I thought Kevin Bru and Jay tabb when he came on did well, Anderson too goit stuck in much more than normal, but it was Sears who stole the show with his man of the match performance, not just his excellent goals but his fantastic work rate, he chases everything, his movement is awesome too, a real livewire around the box, without turning it into a witch hunt we really need to stick with this guy even if McGoldrick is fit, there is no comparison in my eyes. I also have to say Chaplow really impressed me when he came on and I am happy to admit that if he plays like that all the time he will be a valuable and shrewd signing, one ball he cut out was destined to reach an unmarked striker and it would almost certainly have been 3-3.

So that is now 9 points from 12 and up to 3rd place in the table, the capitulation of our season continues, it wasnt perfect by any means but we got the job done, the silly individual errors are beating us as much as our opponents which pleases me to a degree becuase if we can cut them out we are still very hard to beat. 15 more points will ensure the play offs. We go into the big one Sunday in good heart and ready for the fight against the best team in the division on current form. If the worst thing happens and we get beat at Norwich we go again against Leeds & Brentford and hopefully leapfrog them again. I dont think Norwich will have it all their own way, the run has to end soon and maybe it will be us that do it. Keep believing.

How long does he have to it wear for does anyone know?.

You going Sunday Mike?, I am and i just hope we can put in a decent performance. I'd be happy to get a point i don't think i could stomach us losing to them.

My dad will be happy then!

He is still trying to get over them being in the Conference in the first place.

As long as we follow the maxim of 'however many you score we will score one more' then I am fine with however we defend.

Certainly makes for edge of the seat viewing. 2005 all over again.

Yes Lucy I am going Sunday, it will be a tense affair and a point would do very nicely indeed.

I have no idea how long Murphy needs the mask but hopefully not too long.

Looking online it could be anything up to 6 weeks.
