Town started so fast 2 great goals then the half has fizzled out. Charlton had header well saved Town had a couple of half chances. Early Town goal 2nd half kills the game.

Hopefully Burns will be ok. We could do without picking up any injuries today.

Barnsley putting the knife in at FFR where they’re now leading 0-4. Not much chance of catching us on goal difference though.

Game over, well done Chaplin. Sounds bit lucky not conceding a penalty. Just goes to show.. Happy days

Ifollow a nightmare this afternoon, thank’s to Charlton tv nothing lost. Very unselfish of Chaplin not to nick Ladapo’s goal as he so easily could have without being offside.

Re: League 1 - Ipswich Town vs Charlton Athletic Preview & Matchday Thread
I got a three goal lead and Chaplin scored them all. Odd thing is if we were to move him out of midfield to his natural striker position he probably wouldn't be as prolific or score like he has. Charlton making a contest of it or showing some fight ? Right now not sure but seems we're in command. I don't think the opposition are quite as bad as the scoreline would suggest.
it's 4 - 0 now ? Ladapo has scored ?. We're going to win in style. Last week was just a stumbling block, showing good character is hitting back so soon after last game.

It's 5 - 0 now. f**king hell this is something else. Wish could be there today, must be real good atmosphere . It said we got 30,000 there although don't know how many CAFC took for the trip.
Real shame that Plymouth had to win. Who cares if they had a tough game in a local showdown or anything. They're causing us problems / getting in the way of things.
SWFC got a goal back or something. They're still behind, real hope they miss out again. Some Results today could really work for us.

really hope they can hold on. What was that Charlton defender thinking? 5-0 down, only few minutes left to foul Freddie and got himself straight sent off. That's FORTH red card of the season. Could be his season over now. Not great on his CV is it?

Nearly doubled Plymouth goal difference, 27 vs 52. How on earth are they still above us?! (rhetorical)

6-0? Wow! And a red card on Charleton. Following on FotMob, is the game getting chippy in the last couple of minutes?

it's 6 - 0 now ? This is amazing, stupendous, you run out of superlatives. What a game that must have been for the fans in attendance. Be an absolute travesty if this club name isn't in the Championship League in time for August.
Full time it seems and we win by a big standout score. Unable to ascertain how good or poor Charlton were out there but in all fairness who cares.
Bristol Rovers draw level at home to Derby, goddamn it it gets better. SWFC lose if correct and we're back in the automatic promotion places.
What's not to like. Hats off to our players today, that was kind of epic. Catch game report and analysis at a later time.

Definitely looking forward to the highlights on this one. A game in hand and a point lead on Wednesday. Dare we start to think promotion?

Absolutely STUNNING PERFORMANCE by the lads in Blue today.
I know Chappers / Ladapo scored the goals but Morsy for me was simply majestic. He drives this team forward and Luongo is the perfect MF partner.
I think we need 3 more wins from the last 5 games to guarantee promotion….
Come on Town, let’s bloody do this !!

We could possibly Nick it at the death Jonny. We just need to remain totally focused on each game and ignore all the noise that’s currently going on around us from others clubs / fans etc .
