f*ck it, I'm off to the beach.

Hard luck lads, a great effort. It just wasn't meant to be.

Well done MM, you had the lads really up for it and exceeded our expectations for the season by miles.

Well lets not be too disappointed,

Firstly Norwich have not been promoted.. They may not make it

We may have gone all the way to Wembley and not made it..

Next Season with Mick at the helm we will be even better.

Under normal circumstances I'd be delighted with what we've done this season, but losing out to those fucks just ruins it all.

I'm guessing Carrow Road isn't the best place for a Town supporter to be right now. Stay safe and keep cool guys.

See u next season.

Don't blame him grrr!!! He didn't mean it like he wanted to get himself sent off
I'm sorry if you handle the ball on the line all footballers know your getting sent off, can't say he did it by accident he clearly stuck his hand out and with 40 minutes to go 1-0 down with 11 men still in the game, no excuses simple. But in the build up to the goal Mings played terrible pass to Sears and typical other team punishes us.
Reflex reaction running backwards when a ball is belted at you from 10 yards away... you're being too harsh.

Also had the penalty been missed you wouldn't have been so quick to point the finger.

Spot on Shamm.

No point looking back on what might have been.

We can at least all look forward to next season with a degree of confidence and expectation, certainly more so than has been the case over recent years.

Great effort proud of the boys and all the work MM and TC have put in. No blame on Berra, been a rock this season, possble skipper for next! I would certainly let Arsenal etc have Mings and use some of the money to strengthen, hes our weak link. With Sears playing so deep to cover his forward runs we only had Murps up top who in all fairness did his best. Proud and we go again next season!

Yes had it been any other opposition it would be a little easier to digest but being beaten by that garbage just adds insult to injury. I wish I could bring myself to offer congratulations to the opposition for having such a fine season and getting to where they are but f*ck them in all honesty. I hope Middlesbrough take the final and they experience worse than what we are feeling today.

Still it's been a very good season here at Portman Road and we've experienced some fine moments, exciting times and scores and the crap under previous names before McCarthy seemed long removed at so many points of the last nine months. Can we replicate the success next time and again reach the top six ? I don't know right now but McCarthy will strengthen in the close season and we'll come back stronger and better prepared next time.

I don't know why our record in these f**king play-offs is so poor. 2000 aside we fall at this stage every time and even looking back at previous years sometimes wonder how we lost to teams such as Sheffield United, Charlton and West Ham with the teams we had at the time. Just guess some things aren't meant to be. That's not a criticism, just an observation.

No finger pointing needed we punched well above our weight all season. Yes Mings and Tabb may be singled out for the goals, but we have battled well all season long. They have more players of quaility and a premiere league squad and still they will be cained by Middelsborough.
The boys did us proud and we have next season to do the double over them.
BLUE AND PROUD.

I'll avoid insulting you as to not get banned on these forums but seriously, you do talk some utter sh*t. :) If you're suggesting that was a deliberate handball then you're an absolute fuckwit. (yes, I understand i've just contradicted myself!!). The sh*t you've talked all season never fails to desert you does it?

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS. Keep Bishop, let Mings go, strengthen, and we're battling for top 6 again next season.

Of course it was deliberate, it may have been pure instinct but he still stuck his arm out to stop it going in.

Seems as though every journalist and town fan AT THE GAME got it wrong.

The ref gave them everything and denied a clear cut penalty to us,but he got the Berra decision correct, it was an arm and a sending off. Shame because they had nothing before we went down to ten men.

I'll wear blue tinted glasses to the death but it 100% wasn't a penalty I'm afraid.

Proud of every single one of our lads.
A real strong team mentally and physically out of not much at all.
We haven't seen 'togetherness' like that in a side for many years.
Credit to the manager for keeping faith.
Shame on the moaners and finger pointers!
Couldn't have asked the lads for much more.

??? Can't understand why there is a debate over Berras handball. Watched a re-run only once ..... Of course it was deliberate. That's not finger pointing..... That's stating the obvious. No one has slated him, so what's the problem? Fact is, the game changed after that.

But he has had an immense season, as have ITFC,....., much better than many anticipated. Hopefully it can be built on and they take it a step further next season.

Do you understand physics in the slightest? Jesus wept. I'll side with Town fans until I'm blue in the face (excuse the pun) but I think the disappointment of today has skewed a few peoples judgement - yourself included.

So he instinctively handled the ball, deliberately?!

I'm just messing with you ya bawbag......, fact is, it was deliberate. Pretty sure you recorded in the off chance that ITFC won? Go watch it again.

And stop being a hissy c*nt. No one likes it on this forum.
