Maybe something to do with the fact it was a poor game by all accounts.
Still top of the table and we deserve to be noted for that

Yes that was a flippin joke, Lucy. Unbelievable. I think ITFC need to be 30 points clear at the top by Xmas before being taken seriously by the TV.

Thanks to Philgoddard & MPB for the informed fans reports, always like to read these, whatever the result.

My one worry regarding Fraser....... He's going to get snapped one day. Even Mr nice guy Lewis Stevenson tried to empty him at Easter Road a few seasons back because he couldn't handle him. Other teams may be given orders to "delicately" get rid of him. So just look out for the crunching tackles wee man.

So happy today after a very impressive result. Many thanks for the reports from the guys that were there, it certainly sounds like we rode our luck first half but as has already been said, it is the sign of a good team that grinds out a win on days like this and it is wins like this that get you promoted. Still a long long way to go but it could hardly have started any better for us this season.

Next week sees the top Two against each other and if we can do the business at home to Brighton we will have a two week gap to not only drool over the league table but also to get our injured players back, I don't think people realise just how many we have out at the moment. I am really pleased for Gerks today, sounds like he did himself proud with a couple of key saves, I hope he keeps his place in goal now.

That football league show on channel 5 is pants, I had to wait 25 minutes to see the Ipswich goals..All they seem interested in is talking about the premiership has beens like qpr & Hull for most of the show..BRING BACK THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE SHOW all is forgiven.

Listened to the game on my holidays and sh*t myself for the first 30 minutes, Preston were that good. We were fortunate to take the lead when we did but overall think we deserved it in the end!

Also, what a bloody goal!

Missed the game due to other endeavors, but reading a match report from a rival page it would appear Town just about deserved the victory in the end. A first win at the opposition venue since 1980, and the new player Pitman registering another goal to add to his already impressive tally.

Three wins and a 'draw' (opposition required two goals in added time to salvage the day) from the first four fixtures is an outstanding achievement thus far and would ideally want progress in the League Cup again in a short time. Brighton Hove Albion loom large after this weekend and there will be an early season battle with two top placed sides coming soon and with home advantage, expecting a healthy attendance and the team to add another impressive score to it's already steady achievements.

Could not agree more , very poor content in the show the new set up is bad.

Don't bother to watch the programmes that show the championship clubs, either this season or last. It's all very very amateurish IMO

I laid €20 at 6/1 for us to get promoted at the beginning of the season and recall odds of 16/1 for the title.

What do you expect from a U.S. owned company, it's bad enough when ITV get a chance to show football but an American Company should never be allowed anywhere near it.

I never thought I'd ever say it, but bring back the BBC.

I hope Gerks keeps his place too. I understand there isn't much in them but whilst Bialkowski is likely to do a worldy (like gerks on Saturday may I add) he is more likely to plan his holidays mid match.

I'd hate to disappoint you, so I'll say it again.

MM - brilliant at putting together a squad especially on limited funds, but tactically naïve on the modern game.

There, that do you?

I'd give up sarcasm if I were you - you're not much good at it ;)

A worldly means a great, world class finish or in this instance a world class save, surely you've heard that before Marko ?

We say, "OH YA f**king STOATER!"

Edit: granted we've seen little in the way of f**king stoaters recently.

Didn't realize Heart of Midlothian were first place in the SPL. There could be a repeat of '86 in nine months time and all down to the final day once again. Could be a potential Albert Kidd lying in wait once more but we'll see what occurs.

That'll never happen again, certainly not in the child being born NOW's lifetime. Celtic will be double figures out in front by Xmas.
