Believe he's gone out to get a restraining order against certain individuals.

PS Tangfastic : there are a select few (myself included) who are quick to berate the team and manager when things aren't going well or the players have just provided a say "less than satisfactory performance". It's just spontaneous reactions, wanting to see the team succeed, being pissed off when seeing a string of poor results or players not earning their salaries.

Maybe there is a quote 'cosy group' element around here but it's nothing on the level of say TWTD. People like Mr Rusher (and I don't know if he participates on there or not) have a very short life regards putting your opinion across only for the clique members / favorites lists / McCarthy can do not wrong (delete as appropriate) reprobates over there wading in with their batons and ripping your opinions to shreds with their exclusive factions. It's a shame, but it's just the way it is.

The irony of your words will be lost on you, but certainly not many other Town fans.

Yes marko , I had noted this very recent phenomenon. I had hoped he would be posting a new thread after the way Town played yesterday. But he's nowhere to be seen, yet after every Town loss, he's on here posting a new one liner thread, often within minutes of the game finishing, ( so clearly not at the game). These are only observations and Im just asking a question thats all. Not sure why some people are so protective of this individual!

I sent him a pm offering my apologies if I had got him wrong. There has been no reply, to which Im neither surprised nor upset about tbh.

I would also say from another post after yours marko, that the suggestion that there is a clique on this forum is rubbish. Its just that some fans have been posting on here for many, many years and have at different times eventually agreed to meet up pre match. I have personally had the pleasure of meeing with people such as Loudnproud, Suzie, Foxy, Didzy, James, Goldnblack, Bluemike, Shed, Phantom Charnwood, PolishMach, rossi, ShannockSid to name but a few. We even said on Saturday how great it would be to meet up with you marko. In my pm to Jeremy Rusher I invited him to meet us pre match, so that I could buy him a drink, and chat about Town and footie in general.......does this mean we ( those that havd met up prior to games), are all one big clique, which in some way has deliberately excluded other fans on here who have not met up?? And now that another Town fan has in all good light hearted banter put up a thread asking what peoples ages, those of us
( most on here it seems) are all of a sudden deemed lesser Town fans, than those in their 20's.......wtf??

I think the only clique on here are the so called Town fans that love the chance of digging the knife in at every opportunity, who moan at every defeat like the world's end is nigh and who change their opinions quicker than the f**king weather. Black or White and bugger all in between.

Whether JR is a scummer or a Town fan matters not, in fact if he is a Town fan it is even more alarming than were he one of them from up the road such is his constant swipes at everything ITFC. Hallam is quite entitled to her opinion too, especially when someone likes nothing better than to come on here minutes after every defeat to slag the club and manager off but goes bloody awol every time we win, some will say it is his right, maybe so but don't expect for stick not to be thrown back when this happens.

Was it not Pants Storm who started all the "clique" talk back in 09, or vat least reference to it? I seem to remember him saying a few times that he wasn't going to apologise to anyone for having differing views to the masses. From memory, he was tough on the club after every loss........, for me, just an extremely passionate fan. Nothing wrong with that. I have a cousin who wanted Stubbsy sacked after the 3-0 home loss to Morton?! WTF?! He feels a tad silly about reactionary episode now. Today, even when a pass went astray, my mate said to him, "AW FFS! Stubbsy needs fkn sacked eh?!"

Would be great to meet up one day with you guys for a bevvy before the game. Only problem is, I've been to 3 ITFC games, all Vs Norwich, Two losses, one draw! Oh dear oh dear!

Hoping JR responds to your pm's there....., great to read that you had done that. :D

A great many lose interest (that's not to imply the forum is a poor place, far from it, it's the main focus of 'conversation' for all things Ipswich from a personal perspective and favor it every time over any other Town related fansite) but as a previous participant said on a re-visit last year (Crazy) social media has a lot to do with people staying away or finding other areas of interest. Yes it's a shame as to be honest the forum is nowhere near what it was say five or six years ago with the omission of a whole host of names you could reel off i.e. Helen 83, Frankie, Hatch, Victa Lawn Mower, Vaalae, Astrocomet, Susie, Herbivore etc.

Each brought their own individual input and flavor to the pages but times change and as before, new things have come to the fore in the time since which others may be involved in. I've seen it read numerous times that some don't take to the sometimes 'differences of opinion' that causes argument and as a result, some decide to stay away : and though you can't always condone people's behavior, it's one element that makes a forum work - in other words if we all decided to agree on the same thing it would be a very mundane world and fan sites such as this would eventually cease to exist.

It was very gracious invitation (also) of Hallam Blue offering Rusher the opportunity to meet up and indulge in some pre and post-game beverages and discussion. Guessing chose to decline due to location or other commitments, not because there's any real tangible ill-feeling between people. (At least that's what I'd like to believe)

Meeting up with other posters is the best way to get to know and understand them and their opinions, of all the people I have met off here there is not one that I have not got on with and enjoyed speaking with.

I think you are obsessed with JR Hallam to the point of it becoming boring for the rest of us. I think he is a Town fan, maybe you should let it go now.

absolutely - in fact Mike and I no longer argue on here since we started meeting pre-game.
In the early days of Tractor Boys - and indeed on the original ITFC form before that - I had many bitter arguments with Hallam - it was only once I had met her a few weeks ago that I realised what an @rseh0le I'd been. Meeting up pre-game is something I'd recommend to everyone.

Why does aTown fan only post when we lose and hasnt commented once on any of the Town players, how they play, who he likes, how we play, what went well when we win etc etc. It really doesnt feel like he is a Town fan. Yes I know very recdntly he commented kn somd historic events connected with Town, all of which is to be found in Men who Made the Town.

If he really is a Town fan and not a norwich fan trolling on here, ( he has NEVER posted a single positive comment about the ClubTown fans, of the town of Ipswich), then as soneone dlse has said, thats an even bigger worry , that a Town and can post only we lose. Im not witch hunting, Im asking questions of the poster,
thats all.

You may say its boring, my asking ghese quaestions of him, but is it not just as boring seeing his trolling , one liner posts after we lose a game? I know I get cheesed off with it. Dont you?

If Im seen as obessed with him, as a norwich fan ( which cant believe he's not sadly), then hes sure as hell obsessed with this town forum

I actually think Hallam's badgering of JR is quite amusing. And, JR is a big boy...he can defend himself.
