For what it's worth I thought we were superb today, for me Johnson, Morsy and Phillips were superb, Muric much better, everyone did their bit.
What a goal too, a sublime pass from Morsy and what a finish by Davis, it deserved to win a game we dominated.
As for the ref, an utter disgrace, one of the worst yet, gave them so many incorrect decisions.
All in all at this moment I hate f**king football and everything it stands for, I don't think we'll win a game all season the way our luck is going. Outplayed them and still don't win.

Have to say there were some impressive performances from a few players who have come under fire of late, by that I mean Muric & Johnson in particular. I generally really enjoyed that game, how lovely it was to celebrate a (very good) goal in the SBR Lower. I have missed that euphoria big time. Thought out fans were absolutely fantastic too. Never heard a peep out of the Foxes until they scored.

Mike I would expect thousands at the ground to disagree me, but many will be doing so out of frustration rather than they being right and me wrong. As I said I’ve not seen it in slow mo so I maybe wrong, but watching live I was screaming at him not to lose possession. Furthermore what the f*ck was he doing that far upfield when we only have 10 men on the pitch and we’re trying to run down the clock holding on to a slender 1-0 lead with only 4 mins of added time to play. Just saying but I think he got it wrong.Bluemike wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 6:47 pmMany thousand at the ground and on way home disagree with you.Charnwood wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 6:41 pmI’ve not seen it in slo-mo and only watched it in real time, however Mike, I think you’ll find Morsy just ran himself into trouble and had we had that given against us as a foul I think you’d have gone f**king crazy.Bluemike wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 6:22 pmAbsolute f**king joke, a blatant foul not given, they go up the other end and score, it's a farce, we killed them today and for what, cheated again. Firstly, we were generally very good today. The ref however was awful. Muric was better (but still worried me greatly) and Morsy was a giant. The rest all did well.
There is a but... the but is - but once again we could not hold onto a lead. Nothing changed in terms of formation when Philips was sent off. Eventually changes were made more broadly but initially, it was just personnel and again at 65 minutes... we still went gung ho to attack with 10 men and this time it was Morsy who was caught out. It was the same as last week and I cannot see why many others cannot see this as a McKenna failing - for me it is his issue to resolve and he (again). Also, he says today was not must win... well is next week or the week after? I certainly think they are but what chance can we see? We just need tweaks and a different metal attitude. Many moaned about my perceived negativity last week. I was just commenting on what I had seen and guess what? I just watched it again... same issue, different week. Still think we should keep the faith and do the same things guys...? Oh and the pen was 100% nailed on - right in front of me. The VAR guy should be shot. It is pathetic.

Not that it matters now, but I didn't think it was a foul either.
We were great today. Every point is valuable when we're in a relegation battle. It should have been three, but you don't always get what you deserve. The wins will come. Keep the faith

Apart from his yellow cards one in particular which I thought was really harsh, I thought Phillips had a good game. Why the witch hunt ? . In my opinion he’s one of if not the best defensive midfielder in our squad. If he isn’t who do you think is better ?ipswichtownNo1 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 6:09 pmCant do anything with the added time that Leicester created by wasting time with ten men and on the back foot. Read the very little on here and various threads on the other platforms. You seem to be in very much of a minority here, Wilf. But will be personally keeping a close eye over course of the weekend for more of the McKenna effect. Your McKenna witch hunt (if its to be labelled) is very intriguing indeed. Cannot work out if you are indeed onto something or if you need your meds increased!Blue Wilf wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:57 pmFirstly, we were generally very good today. The ref however was awful. Please don't complain to the mods over meds comment; I was only joking.

Tell you what though, no idea who the mods are on other sites......, but a "Meds4Mods" campaign wouldn't be a bad thing.

Agree with a lot of what’s been said. A good performance, a great goal. After the first 15 minutes we were the better team. Gutted at the result. Haven’t seen it back but I thought at the time it was a foul in the lead up to their goal. And I saw a video of the not-given penalty (someone showed me it in the Greyhound street the match) and if VAR can’t see that, then I don’t know why we have it. I suspect it was made awkward because if that was given as a penalty, would they have to overturn the red card that happened afterwards and pretty much as a result of the ref not giving the penalty?
The ref started poorly and got progressively worse. I suspect KMK will get fined for his comments.
Have to agree with many who say they hate the prem. It really is corrupt. I’m sure it isn’t deliberate but the refs consistently give us nothing.
Enjoyed the performance, if we get relegated so be it. Points lost for the second successive match because of the ref in my opinion (as Clarke’s red card was for a fair tackle).
I’m just going to try and enjoy the performances and ignore the results - although my sore throat from sitting at the ref says otherwise. Chaplin central and Hutch wide was a great improvement. I hope it continues

There's no way Town can survive in this bloody league, because the PL, officials, pundits, VAR officials, none of them, not a single one of wants clubs like Town to be in their closed shop, corrupt little club.
The PL STINKS, I hate it. It's plastic, soulless, and reeks of " looking after their own". They are driven by greed, anf its ALL about money and certainly dont want it to filter down to the lower leagues.
As far as Im concerned they SHOVE their so called " premier" up their arses.
They make me sick. Football is DEAD in the so called Premier League. It's a con , and a complete farce, corrupt from the top down, and run by the so called big five.
f*ck the lot of em

Just managed to see the 3 minutes of highlights on YT. ...., stonewall penalty denied.
Great connection by Davis.
Highlights don't go back far enough to see what Morsy did for the Leicester build up & goal.
Watched the Leicester goal on repeat......, can't work out if its a fantastic goal or bad defending. Think it might just be a great move and goal. Certainly an awesome 1-2.

I'm absolutely livid, we've been robbed of 3 or 4 vital points in the last couple of games alone. Frankly it's criminal and I bet there will be no review or apology about how inept the officiating has been.
There is hundreds of millions of pounds at stake here. Just for one of the 3 or 4 decisions that has cost us... Chaplin has been absolutely flattened in front of the ref, a linesman, 30000 people, dozens of cameras, millions of viewers across the world and a VAR team, yet we're all supposed to continue with our lives like it was at most a slight oversight.

No offence taken whatsoever Marko. It is not any form of a witch hunt - I just don't think he is learning lessons, thats all. Read the reports yourself - the team who have dropped 12 points from winning/drawing positions yet we still attack attack attack - great to watch but comes with a risk and at a price - a price which we are paying with 5 points from 30 with Spurs away and Man U at home coming up. 12 games in (a third of the season roughly) with 5 points anyone? Still want to keep the faith and carry on regardless? I sure as hell think its a crisis even if others don't!marko69 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 8:49 pmRead the very little on here and various threads on the other platforms. Totally on the same page to you here Andy, especially the red highlighted parts. I have also highlighted in Bold red, something I was going to post separately. Football is an entertainment business and this was every bit about entertainment for me. My first experience of an upgraded Premier League Portman Rd, the glitz, the glamour of the lights & surrounds. If you only get to a few games each season, I see the attraction, AM but week in, week out, its not the hyped up entertainment machine you suggest, sadly. We all have our expectations and they clearly differ, which is fine. For me, its all 'fancy' on the surface but belies a darkness underneath that is a very poor version of the football I grew up loving. Each to their own!AzzurroMark wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 10:24 pmTotally on the same page to you here Andy, especially the red highlighted parts. I’m not sure where you got that from Wilf, You won’t find anywhere where I’ve said the ref didn’t make any mistakes or any words to that effect, in fact everything I said about him was critical. Eg; one of my latter posts about the ref read;Blue Wilf wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 10:32 pmSorry, I didn't read your in match comments Charny as Inwas at the game! I thought the ref was shocking too. I must admit it was one part of the game where I expected much better in the Premier
League but this hasn’t proved to be the case so far. .
My defence was of Kalvin Phillips is response to Ipswichtown No1

Me personally, yes I do, because I have always thought the step up was too big (at this moment in time) and ITFC were always candidates for relegation. But MAINLY --->> I do not think there is anyone else available out there who'll have ITFC climbing the table. They'd need to play counter-attacking football and the laws of averages say it doesn't work over an entire season.Blue Wilf wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 10:12 pmNo offence taken whatsoever Marko.
It is pathetic.Really wish I purchased some TownTV, want more of an input here.
Please don't complain to the mods over meds comment; I was only joking.![]()
Tell you what though, no idea who the mods are on other sites......, but a "Meds4Mods" campaign wouldn't be a bad thing.
Had the club marked for the "R", but obviously hoping survival can still be achieved.
If I had more time, I'd drag up conversations from the summer about expectations. Got to be honest, I believe expectations have been exceeded in all honesty.

My mistake, sorry - you were talking about Phillips, not the Ref! Too much red wine to drown my sorrows...

No probs Wilf. It’s funny by nephew who was with the Leicester lot said their fans were all scathing about the referee and thought he was useless. How poor mics the have been when both sets of fans think he’s crap.
Surely there must be a referee’s assessor in the stadium ? if there was how bad must the report have read as he was shockingly poor.
Also I wonder if VAR decisions are assessed by anyone because the foul on Chaplin in the box seconds before Phillips sending off was another shocker of a decision.
