I went for Magilton because, while I haven't been able to make many games, the games I have seen, Magilton really has been the heartbeat of the team!! he starts off many goals for the blues, and you can't doubt his passion for one moment!!

Bent: His goals and he must have the most assists by a striker in the league!

De Vos for me as he has steadied our defensive weaknesses.
I think horlock would be a close second as he is superb in front of the abck four.
Kuqi has come good in the last few matches
It is so hard to choose when the team is performing well all over the pitch.
Tough at the top ain't it!!

I think Kuqis work rate has been first class this season and he deservedly has got the goals to go with the performances. Long may it continue!

Had to go for Shefki - I think he has been awesome this season. I think with improved confidence he will become a much better player (which we are finally seeing).
After a funky pre-season where it looked like he was on his way Shefki has come good. He seems committed to the cause and I think he loves playing for town.
There have been alot of good performances this season though - everybody has had up and down games but when some players have underperformed other players have risen and carried those players - which is what a good team will always do. The workrate and desire is there and the quality of players at the club is of a very good standard. These combinations have helped ensure our great start to the season - so really awards should be given to the whole side - well done lads!!

Horlock wins player of the month
Midfielder Kevin Horlock is the latest winner of the club's Player of the Month accolade for his sterling performances in October.
Horlock has slotted effortlessly into the Town side, providing an excellent range of short and long passes in midfield, as well as adding a bit more defensive cover to the back four.
Manager Joe Royle knew the former Northern Ireland international well from his time at Manchester City and swooped to bring him in on a free transfer just before the start of the season, and it has proved a fine acquisition.
He has maintained a consistently high standard of performance, and has now been rewarded for his efforts in October by the club's main sponsors Powergen and local newspaper the East Anglian Daily Times.
Horlock said: "I'm really pleased to win this award. It is good to get recognition for what you do as a job. It was a good month for the team in general and the award could easily have gone to one of many players".
Despite Town's status as top scorers in the Championship, neither Horlock or central midfield partner Jim Magilton have yet found the target, and Horlock said: "While it is good to make goals, I wouldn't mind getting on the end of one myself and score before the end of the season".
With Tommy Miller and Ian Westlake weighing in on a regular basis, it will not be a major concern for Royle, and while Horlock and Magilton are producing such valuable contributions, they will continue to be among the first names on the teamsheet.
Yes not only October either methinks ...........
