I think Jim has been a googd sevant for the club but i think he should bow out now. Devos should take over as captain and curry or miller fill the hole in the middle. the magilton 2 yard pass is pointless and puts us under pressure.

I think that in terms of fitness he is one of the unfittest in the league, however I still se him as an important part of the team, not only because he's our captain but he suits our style of play, can pick a pass from almost anywhere and also is also a great role model for some of our younger players and he is a morale booster, hopefully after retirement he will take a coaching role at the club.

He's been fantastic, but keeping him fit is clearly becoming very difficult. Regardless of where we finish, I think his playing days should come to an end soon - if we go up, perhaps he should quit on top and acquire status as a town legend!

Jim is a player I would love to have in the Sunderland side, a wise old head among youngsters

He should go into coaching.

Can you imagine Jim shouting at you day in day out.
Jesus, its enough to motivate the most lazyiest of gits.

Jim is doing his coaching badges now at the club.

But I still want him in the side, yes he may struggle to do 90 mins but when hes not there we do miss him.
Hes our cog in the wheel so to speak.
If we go up ,yes he may struggle, but for now hes good and I can't think anyone at he moment Id rather have as captain either.

Totally agree, Magic will have a big say in our remaining matches, and his future can be sorted when we know what division we're in next season!
