We are only selling Bent if we DON'T go up, therefore we will only sell Lita if we DON'T go up. If noone takes a gamble on him, how is he gonna realise his potential, he is possibly better than bent IMHO. It's you sort of attitude that is the only reason he's still in League One.

Jon Stead scored about 20 in that leauge Lita has scored about 32 Also stead did amazing at 1st but this season has been playing in a struggling team! Lita was sh*t hot for the u21s! also as i said in earlier post just look a lua lua who scored less goals then lita at that level! now flying in the premiership!

I agree with you Lukey! And anyway, Stead was in League Two when Blackburn bought him and Lita is a much better player than Stead is/was.

Only reason he isnt a prem player now is beacuse he was at Chelsea and we all know they dont use the youth scheme well nowerdays!

Where do you get that from?? OK, he expresses frustration at not being able to try out his skills in the Premiership, but he's been a regular in the England U21's for a while now, I can understand him wanting to prove himself at a higher level.
However, 4 mil would be rather tempting, as it would be loads more than we'd get if we were to sell him if we'd failed to gain promotion / if we were relegated after one year. It's actually for this reason that I don't think they would be any bid if we were promoted, other teams would wait and see if they could get him at a cut price.

I've seen him at games, he just doesn't put any effort in.

+ he as already said he will leave if we don't go up.

I think we should gamble on Lita even if we stay down!

Anyone likely to come in for him from the Prem would want to see how he did first, so the earliest you would see a bid is when the transfer window opened again.

Its all well and good speculating about how he may do , but a lot of teams would say the proof of the pudding was in the eating - why pay for potential when you can take a gander at him first and see if it is fact!

Totally agree! I'd rather be in the premiership with Bent than without. When I've seen him play this year he's looked far superior to anyone else on the pitch.

Whilst our defence and midfield needs a lot of work IF in the prem. - I am comfortable with Bent, Kuqi, Bowditch and (dare I say Pabs?) up front.

He may have run his socks of for the last 2/3 games but seems to me that when he is scoreing he is the worlds best player and when he isnt he is nothing! His overall play is crap! he has the pace and often the finish IMO he is no better player then David Johnson (the seconed one lol) was!

If we didnt get promoted I think we'd be stupid to let him go for £4m!

I have to ask why - he certainly doesnt make a contribution worth £4m in the championship - not when you consider what kind of players we could buy for that money to build up an automatic promotion chasing team.
