Would like to see it happen as it his best he'd be a tremendous asset, but we all know no matter how he plays another deal isn't going to be happening. But at his best he could easily be good enough for the Premiershi.

True, but in all fairness, where else is he gonna go ??? Back oin Spain he aint gonna get payed anywhere near as much as he does over here.

I imagine he will end up back in Spain to be honest, although from what he keeps saying, he'd love to have the chance of a new deal, but as I say, I can't really see it happening.

Still, he's one of the most naturally gifted players we've had for a long while, nobody at the club can turn a man like he can, and we've never really had anyone in recent years like that.

No way, He's a good player but his attitude has stunk this season nd his laziness in theory could cost us promotion, because if he had been fully motivated and played to his potential, im sure we would have extra points in the bank

Christ, if anyone says Pablo cost us promotion they seriously are living in a completley deluded world. He's hardly got more than 15-20 minutes at a time, and if you aim long balls at him he is going to look stupid, it's not his strength, it's like employing Henry but firing high balls in at head height of course it's going to make him look bad.

Oh, and before we bring the poor record for the reserves side out, remember whilst Pablo may have only scored eight, thats seven more than Scowcroft Bowditch, Clarke and Knights managed put together and they've played in a quite large number of reserves games too - although convientley people forget to mention that.

The whole team has only scored about 18 all season, of which Pablo scored almost half of them, so I don't think he was doing too badly, simply the reserves side has been poor this year, which the bottom place in the league they have shows. Think you have to take into consideration who he is playing with.

One things for sure, Pablo has contributed a hell of a lot more than Scowcroft has, who has now hit about 9 first team apperances, admittley most as sub, and the same reserves apperances, yet still has not managed to score a goal.

Yet Scowcroft has played and started a lot more than Pablo since he came in on loan, yet ask yourself, why is this? He's certainly not deserved to get there on merit. When Shefki was out, Scowcroft started every game ahead of Pablo, even despite the fact Scowie was crap. thats when we dropped a lot of points so if your going to blame Pablo for that, I think Scowcroft deserves to take blame too.

I never said he has cost us promotion? I jsut said he has done sod all this season and doesn't deserve a contract. Are you telling me he has played to his potential this season and had the perfect attitude? Thought not. Typical of ppl to get excited becoz he scored a goal when he was useless at Leeds.................

Useless at Leeds? Even the most biased Pablo critic Bryan Knights thought he played well that day, so he couldn't have been too bad!

So Jus I take it you weren't there, n he done sod all hence his substitution after the hour and it was only in the last quater we actually played. Im a huge fan of his abilities but hes let every1 doen this season and has done sod all to earn what most ppl earn ina year a week. Dont think any1 can argue with that relli

He wasn't taken off because he did sod all, he was taken off because he was tired, Joe admitted it after the game.

yes, keep him on month contracts over the summer i say and if his fittnes gets better then sign him up on a contract for the season.

I think it depends what division we are in as well. If we stay down and bent goes we could use pablo to fill his place and use the money more on midfield !

I think a pay as you play contract would be a good idea. we can get rid of him at any point we like, he'll be playing for his next wage packet and he wont cost to much.

But if you were Pablo, would you want that? Sure you could argue that if he was loyal and tried he would stay, but I know if my employer said the same to me, we give you peformance related pay and can terminate your contract at any time, I'd start looking for another job, as there is no job security.

Plus after whats gone on with Joe and Pablo, it probbably wouldn't be a good idea, as Pablo would probbably think Joe would ensure he isn't payed on purpose.

He may have had a bad season or a few if you wanan put it that way but NEVER any good is a bit harsh don't you think??

Maybe, because like he has been saying for the last few months now, he loves it here, and as he said today:

"When I eventually leave Ipswich I will have good memories of the Club, the players and the fans; they will be big memories for me. My goal today felt good, not just for myself and the team but for the fans."

Maybe he wanted to keep it as a memory of his last goal for the club. Who knows. But contrary to what some people believe, I really do think Pablo does like it here, he's never said anything different.

IF we go up, I'd consider it. He'll probably do better in the premiership than here.

If not, no, not unless he's willing to take a serious pay-cut.
