Well, from our team last night, who do you reckon was MOTM? For me was Currie, best performance I've seen from him. Shame he couldn't make the difference.

currie, then jim, streets ahead of the others imho.

Currie was playing out of his skin and way above his usual level, was very impressed.

Jim for showing passion. Some of his team mates should take note.

KELVIN DAVIS

Was outstanding again, as always. Most consistent player he is.

Darren Currie and Jim come as a joint 2nd. They were both excellent, one of the best matches i've seen Currie play for a looooong while

About the only players that did IMO :(

Davies, he had a great game right place right time everytime (if you ignore the 2 goals  ) doesn't always get the credit he deserves because of the poor defence he has.

Has to be either Darren Currie or Davis, Luke will be pleased!!

Currie was great in the first half and was the only person who came close to scoring, twice! He crossed a few great balls and his corners where good espessically with that West ham rabble screaming at him whilst beign held back by stewards!! Sky broke for adverts with the phrase 'red hot currie'.

Davis was a godsend for us yet again, you can't fault him, he couldn't have done a thing about the two goals!! He even saved one with his face  that looked painfull!!

Why isn't Westlake in there?

The only midfielder who put in a decent all round performance in my opinion.

Crikey did you lot all see a different Darren Currie to me?

He was better than usual but he still wasn't good enough, too slow and too slow to release the ball, also his crossing was relatively poor...still at least he tracked back a bit and even made a few challenges.

I thought the only way we were going to score was through him! His crossing was good, but there was just no one there to take advantage of it. He had a couple of decent shots and that pass to Bowditch late on was top draw! he also kept the ball brilliantly well IMO.

I take it back, yes that pass was top class.

Westlake made a lot of crucial tackles and interceptions and seemed to be the only midfielder helping out our beleagured fullbacks.

I think some people have just accepted the fact that yes he is slow, but have tried to pick out his better qualities which make him a good player!
Like his crossing, his free kicks, his fancy footwork.
Jim's not a fast player but everyone can praise him becuase of the way he plays football, not how he runs.

I know you need fast palyers in your team but to not have a couple isn't a bad thing if their other good points make up for it

To be fair he was not the worst on show in a blue shirt, but hardly worth rave reviews.

Jim and Currie....for their attacking play. Altho neither did much good defensively.

actually currie made a lot of tackles, and one that sticks in my mind was a brilliant run the entire way from thier box back and put in a fantastic tackle as the guy was about to put a cross in.

Was very surprised by the speed he got to get back, no idea where that came from.
