Its not Sam who should be thanking us, it should be us thanking him. He's stuck by us, and those fans that have jeered him could have driven him away from the club. Now it's time for him to forget the fans, and do everything for the club!

too right fully but he should also say thanks to the true fans that have backed him up through thick and thin.

At least the twit behind me didn't call him donkey yesterday. I think the singing and chanting had a good effect.

Time to be unpopular. Sheep? Lemmings?

I'm glad the crowd got behind him, I was never booing the poor b*stard, and joined in the full hearted supported from the back of the lower north.

However, big question marks still stand for the lad - he's not the real deal if you ask me, he's lacking in movement, pace and touch. Still has things to prove methinks.

I can see why you think that, but his first touch will improve, it's because he's not used to the way we move the ball that it's suffered. I was up in Swindon last year for college, saw him there and his first touch and movement were good.

As for pace, he lacks it, but in this league it's not impossible to do without (Sheringham, Ashton, Pablo) and I think Parkin is a truly special player with a lot of passion for football, something lacking in a lot of good players...
