lol just on the bbc 606 website and leeds fans think they have won the champions league with their lucky 90 minute own goal. also wanted to add that their fans were chanting 'we hate man u' or something like that during the silence.

Every ground had either a minutes scilence or a minutes applause for George Best today.
Leeds fans sang abuse through it - tossers!

man city had probs too the silence had 2 b stopped after 30secs

and i'm sure u being stereotypical bout the leeds fan, a small bunch of fans distrupting the silence (which i totally don't agree with) does not make them all tossers does it?!?!

Unfortunately Sarah, i agree with Bluebird.....living in Yorkshire, that the majority of Leeds fans have no respect whatsoever.

They did it live on Sky when there was the 1 minute silence for Matt Busby. They sang "One Don Revie"

Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell has condemned the fans who disrupted the silence held in honour of George Best before Saturday's match against Millwall at the New Den.

The silence lasted barely 20 seconds, with a section of Leeds supporters jeering as fans paid their tribute to the Manchester United and Northern Ireland legend.

Blackwell said: "It was rubbish and should be put in the rubbish bin - that's where we should put it.
Tossers!
