Jason DeVos ..

Remind me people, why are we paying this fella? Why is he in our team??

This season he is the worst defender to wear the blue shirt since some of the clowns sent out by Duncan.

Last night, I took the opportunity of watching the game on TV, to study his performance, and frankly his even worse than I thought

Example, the Koumas goal, the lad fell over in our box, and still DeVos failed to get within three yards of him. I honestly believe that even I, at my age, could have got closer to the welsh tw*t! He wins f*ck all in the air, and the headers he does win are weak and fail to clear the danger area. His lack of mobility is shocking, and to top it all he will no longer tackle, so we now have a centre half as slow and weak as Darren Currie.

I don't care who plays in DeVos's place but FFS Ipswich, ship this useless tw*t out today!

You're right, of course, but what amazes me is that everybody seems to be able to see this apart from our esteemed and capable leader

Agreed he is a donkey but unfortunately he is with Naylor the only person who wins the ball in the air.Since we lost Bent and Kuqi we are extremely vulnerable to corners etc with the opposition usually throwing in a couple of 6ft defenders and you can hardly expect the likes of Forster , Bowditch etc to mark them. We need a young tall athletic defender. I've not seen a lot of Nash or Collins, could they be the answer?

The trouble is the few games Collins played in at the start of the season (against Yoevil and someone else) he did not play well at all.

However i think has come to the point where hell we might as well have a youngster learning the game and making mistakes than an old donkey doinf F-all.

I say chuck in the youngsters, tell them not to worry as they can t be worse than the sh1t tha tis playing at the moment.

But he was playing with Wilnis at the back for both those games...put him with Naylor, who would hopefully organise him a bit and it could work.....

The players that tried to cover for Sito didn't close Koumas down, they just tried to get in the way and not risk a tackle in the box.

Sito was beaten on that play. He misjudged the ball in the air, then stood there for a second while Koumas collected the ball. Sito eventually tried to get back in the play, but he could have done better with the ball in, and could have reacted much more quickly to his initial mistake.

I think De Vos played with injuries too often last season. He was much loved by the fans last year when he kept playing when he should have been recovering and getting treatment. Now his legs are gone.
