Norwich may consider Ashton bids

Post by Dazza » Wed Dec 14, 2005 6:59 pm

Norwich boss Nigel Worthington says that striker Dean Ashton would be allowed to leave in January - if the club are happy with the fee.
The Canaries signed the 22-year-old for £3m from Crewe in January 2005.

Worthington told the club website: "We will only lose Dean if the price is right for Norwich City - and everybody has a price.

"We had two good offers in the summer. Those offers were a lot more than we paid, we turned down a big price."
Well, well, well... All those "he wont be sold in January" comments look rather silly now.

I find it rather amusing he is doing so crap! He aint no Darren Bent!
