Crouch scores again

Post by Gaz » Thu Dec 15, 2005 7:45 am

And again

GOAL Deportivo Saprissa 0-1 Liverpool
It is a perfect start for the Reds. John Arne Riise lofts a chip into the box which is touched from Djibril Cisse into the path of Peter Crouch, the striker rifling a right-foot volley past the statuesque goalkeeper.

GOAL Deportivo Saprissa 0-2 Liverpool
Play is punctuated by another cracking goal. John Arne Riise lofts a cross from the left and Steven Gerrard watches the ball on to his boot and unleashes a rifled volley from the edge of the area.

GOAL Deportivo Saprissa 0-3 Liverpool
The ball breaks for Peter Crouch who, one-on-one, makes no mistake and calmly slots home. It was unlikely that Liverpool would have let their dominance slip but that now makes the last 30 minutes a formality.

Just watched the game on BBC1, and i think Crouch gets more criticism than he deserves,

yeah it was against the Costa Rican national Champs, but if he doesnt score goals, he still brings skill to the Liverpool side.

Good on ya boy, but Bent should still have ya England place

If crouch was a few inches shorter, ppl wouldnt make such a big deal about him! He would just b a useless donkey, but just because of those extra few inches hes a lanky donkey! :D :D
