Spanish full-back Sito has been included in a Galician representative squad taking on Uruguay at the Estadio de San Lázaro in Santiago de Compostela on December 29th. Sito hails from La Coruña in Galicia, the region in the north-west of Spain.
Former Blue Pablo Couñago is also included in the squad, as are Real Madrid's Michel Salgado and Rangers striker Nacho Novo.
Town are certain to withdraw the summer signing from the party due to the busy Christmas schedule. There are no Spanish domestic fixtures over the holiday period which means home-based players will not have the same problem.
Sito, who joined the Blues on a free transfer from Galician club Racing Club de Ferrol in the close season, is expected to sign an extended deal with the club within the next few weeks.
