Magilton, Wilnis and Naylor - Burleys downfall??

Post by the-mole » Wed Feb 08, 2006 12:40 pm

Yo peeps - was just pondering this thought - the 3 main players we have left from Burleys era are of course Magilton, Wilnis and Naylor.

3 key players from our recent history and are all becoming legends in their own right - with a few years left in 2 of the players.

Now when burley was in charge during the second premiership season and the relegation season - we saw the demise from the first team of those 3 players. I do believe all 3 were more or less told at one point that they are free to go and find new clubs.

Now looking at how loyal these players have been when compared to the likes of Jamma, Mcgreal and others I really don't care to mention - was this a mistake on Burleys part??? All 3 have made an awesome contribution since his departure and their careers turned back around when at one point they all seemed to be heading for the exit door.

Discuss.......... :D

Dont need to discuss this as you're spot on......all three player's were left on the sidelines during Burley's last spell and it was Royle that saw Naylor's great potential as a center back not forward.....3 wonderfully loyal true blue player's :D
