That, I'm afraid, reveals our weakness. Only 5 of our 13 games so far have been against teams currently in the top half of the table. Of those 5 we have lost 2, drawn 3, and failed to win any.pathay wrote: I'm happy and with two wins against teams above us there is a different feeling down here in Cardiff
I don't think Rusher favors Norwich it's just like some previous participants we've had before that become more active when Town suffer a setback and voice their opinions, it doesn't necessarily indicate they have any leanings towards that b*stard horde from the green and yellow city. While we're at it, and I can't stand the team in question, but kind of miss the days when actual City fans would come on the pages and get involved (invariably receiving a backlash sooner or later) as it did at least provide some entertainment / fun reading. They're in short supply these days.bluemike wrote:My original post in reply to the opening post seems to have mysteriously disappeared so I best tone this one down.
why no post after the last 8 games JR ??? Is it something to do with the fact we didnt lose any of them ? Suddenly after one poor result you jump on here like a ferret down a hole. I suspected as much and you didnt disappoint.
Sadly educational standards in Norfolk aren't what they once were. Reading and writing being particularly deficient!saint jude wrote:I don't think Rusher favors Norwich it's just like some previous participants we've had before that become more active when Town suffer a setback and voice their opinions, it doesn't necessarily indicate they have any leanings towards that b*stard horde from the green and yellow city. I think the fact that someone removed your message without apparently having the decency to tell you is is pretty bad Mike, to be honest. Surely you are owed an explanation.bluemike wrote:My original post in reply to the opening post seems to have mysteriously disappeared so I best tone this one down.

I didn't actually see anything wrong with your post Mike, but the principle of having it removed without informing you why, stinks. Also, where is the continuity: I have been called a tw*t, arsehole and turd (amongst others) in the past and nothing has ever been done about it. It doesn't bother me as it's water off a duck's back, but I still think you should have been informed.bluemike wrote:In fairness moderating is not easy when you get idiots like me taking exception to someone's post, I just cant abide this thing where people only post when we have lost, honest to god I get so angry, I know it is people's right and I like to think it is my right to object to it also.

This will probably be removed as well, but the truth is, JRthur is an out and out c*ck and gets all that he deserves.
Cheers Mikebluemike wrote:I dont want anyone getting into an argument over something I posted, I stand by my original post but accept that it was removed for what is deemed an OTT retort.
Please be assured Frosty that my comments were not directed at you personally. I hope my exchanges with you on previous issues reinforce that.frostynz wrote:I guess that's up to each individual moderator BB. Rather than escalate this issue it was felt it best to gently moderate the thread, please don't try and escalate the drama.
I will alert the moderator involved to your concerns

People on here are passionate about the club and if you don't have the bottle to accept the responses your posts generate, then I strongly suggest you stop posting.
Oh.i get it.....a few of these idiots start pandering to you "FROSTY" and now you strongly suggest that I don,t express my opinion. I take 2 days off work and travel to Cardiff and you feel me and my mates are not passionate about following our team......(both home and away most weeks).. Not one of these idiots who slag me off have anything to say about the game.....or any other f,kin game......They just post the usual crap about me only posting after a poor result........(never mind the draw away to Forest and the draw against 10 men at home to Blackburn).....Then there is the rubbish about me being uneducated....from Norfolk.....and a tw*t...pr*ck etc. So what place has that got on a forum ? So...instead of replying to the post....or the game.....a few idiots decide to gang up and start a volley of abuse. Ok...one points out that I only come on here after a bad result and 8 weeks. At least I don,t come on here spouting pathetic abuse at people. My previous post was the sad loss in the Capital Cup game away to Crawley......
I posted my comment on walking into my home at 4am after a long trip there and back to Wales.........with two long traffic diversions......and .....at that time.....was pretty pissed off..I was expressing my opinion that the team could of won the game. Big Deal !!!......And ...as you say.....I don,t have the bottle to accept all this crap ?......ha ......Pathetic.

I can be as guilty as JR regarding posting negative comments, and as Marko says it is a fact of life that many of us feel the need to comment when things go wrong but happily sit back without comment when things go well. The response to then post has nothing to do with what JR said, more to do with who said it.
I have often seen it from the other side of the fence - finding blue-tinted over-optimism unbearable when we have managed a win while playing poor football. We all see things differently and I guess we all fall into one of 2 categories - seeing all the good things or all the bad things.
I agree with Billy that it would be nice if mods could let people know that their posts have been removed, preferably with an explanation. And to suggest that JR should think about how he words his posts is ludicrous, at least on this occasion, as it was a harmless observation that I imagine most people at the game would agree with.
I suppose if I was having a chat in a pub I might come out with comments like I see in this thread in the heat of the moment. But Jesus, why can't people take a deep breath, count to 10 and think before they hit the Submit button?

On the whole I don't disagree with you Andy, however I have seen threads exactly like this one, with the same players go the same way in the past.
Maybe I know too much behind the scenes history on here for my own good.
Anyway, my mistake .... I will just lock threads like this in future rather than letting them get out of hand.
Have to agree with these comments entirely.Charnwood wrote:frostynz wrote:Andym wrote:I can't believe where this thread is going. The original post was quite innocuous and probably factually correct. It's far more entertaining when they do get out of hand. People just need to be a bit more thick skinned or give as good as they're prepared to take.
There are one or two on here who occasionally have a pop at me for one reason or another and it doesn't bother me a jot, I think some people are far too sensitive which isn't a quality you need if you want to be part of a footie forum where we all have very different views.
"Get a life" is probably about right..... there are far more important things in life than a footie forum and more important than our beloved football team.
Let's hope we can win on Saturday and all be friends again.
